Pros: 1 year ago their customer service dept. functioned.
Cons: Ignores cancellation of service, charged for itemization yet removed calls, refused to adjust bill
The Bottom Line: Final recommendation: avoid like the plague...a product is only as good as the service that covers up for it.

| fedupconsumer's Full Review: General Reviews of PrimeCo Customer Service |
I purchased a primeco phone and then had to fight to get the rebate that was promised. I kept service for over 2 years. When primeco's customer service called (laughing) that the phone was disconnected (over $40.00 was late), I said to just cancel the service as of the disconnect date and that they would get paid. One week later, Primeco's customer service calls again, demanding a credit card # or threatening
to send bill to a collection agency...remember we are talking $40. I lost my temper. I called later that evening and requested to speak to a supervisor after talking to a rep...I got angel...she listened ...said she couldn't do anything cuz she couldn't find any record of them calling me in the first place so the service could not have been cancelled. (I have worked in office settings and at all times each phone would have records of calls placed) She in turn forwarded me to 2 or 3 other reps...who ranged from if you cancel you will owe for not honoring the contract (1- what contract? 2-I had their service for over 2 years),to... we will reconnect you and give you an extra 100 minutes without the $25 reconnect fee,... to somebody was just prank calling me because it wasn't them. Angel did manage to do "something"...when my final bill came in ...she managed to remove all itemized calls and still charged me for itemization...they ignored the fact that service was stopped and billed in full for the month or billing cycle ie 911 fees etc. Coworkers said they had the same problems with primeco..ignoring the cancellation of service and would continue to bill (not sure if it is just an old customer service technique that they kept from their parent company verizon according to other complaints on the web).I just received notice from a collection agency today..so as I promised unless this was straightened out and I received my itemized billing and the adjustments were made, when they threatened me with sending the bill to collection...the final bill is in collection...and as I promised, that I would file a complaint as to the way that they conduct business...here is my first complaint.
