Pros: Easy intallation, easy to take shots.
Cons: Short cord, not a webcam.
The Bottom Line: Only buy this product if your only wanting to take simple pictures from your desktop.

The Philips PC Camera looks like a cute little webcam for your PC right? The question is, is it really a webcam, and is it really cute?
We received the camera from my father as a gift. Immediately we plugged it in and installed it. The installation was easy as cake, and came with free programs to edit images. That we liked. Then it sat unused. We tried to make videos, but the quality was awful. The lag of the images was at least 30 seconds behind.
Another problem is, they make it seem like a webcam. It’s not a webcam at all! You can’t set it up to become a webcam either. So if you want a webcam out of this product, tough!
The cord for the camera is very short, only about 3 feet, that just fits on my monitor.
They also included a conveniently place button on the camera, to take a picture. That’s one of the only good items.
Only buy this product if you only want to take simple pictures from your desktop.
