Pros: Healthy, realistic, produces long-term fat loss/muscle gain, and low cost
Cons: Follow exercise religiously (although not difficult to do) and remember to carry around snacks
The Bottom Line: It works, simple, healthy, nothing extreme. Healthy diet and exercise = great shape (and that is all Bill Phillips is saying)

| tahid's Full Review: Body For Life |
I gained 50 pounds from my pregnancy and had not lost it until i started this program... I like the emphasis on the weight training as it produces sculpting effects and the 'tightness' feel from the work outs is very motivating. I recommend this book... it is not a fad, not some ketosis packaged seller, just a plan to practice the basics of weight loss: exercise and a healthy/well-balanced. I don't recommend buying his shakes/etc. - just a waste of money. The bars (even the zone bars will work on this plan) are good for the meals... you must eat every two-three hours and I found the nutrition bars convenient.
