I have just recently stumbled upon this site. I have been searching the web for referral programs and ways to make a little cash on the side while I am online. I found this site through Epinions. I would have to say I was more confused by the clutter on the first page than anything else.
When you first enter the site you will notice a page of what seem to be very interesting links. I saw something about linking to their site. I clicked on it thinking maybe they would give you something in return for drawing traffic to their site. This was not the case it just half loaded a banner that you could put on your site for free advertisement for them. On this page I noticed a list of links on the side to many other interesting items. The one that really caught my eye was the Free Clothing one. I gave it a shot.
The free clothing: It took me to another page that had three different links. The first one was for UrbanQ. It offered a full rebate on clothing for the entire family. This sounded too good to be true and so it was. This offer was from back in Oct. 2000 and has long since expired. On to the next free clothing offer.... The next one was for a free hat, and was for businesses only. Just to see the deal I tried clicking on the link, but no matter how many times I do I get a page not found error. The third and final link was for a free T-shirt with a printing imperfection. This link worked and was current, but I did not bother as I have been to this T-shirt site before and placed an order that never did arrive.
So far I am figuring this site is a big joke and there is just a bunch of useless information, dead links, and outdated material. I did learn however if you can deal with the junk their is actually much that can be found here.
Once you get past that first page of confusion (I did this by clicking on the link to us option). On that next page you will find a large list of options on the left hand side. These will take you to other lists under those listings. If you click on Mystery Shopping it will take you to a large list of sites that offer this. You will find some links are out dated, but by sorting through you are sure to find some great info as I have.
Pocket Changeitself is not a money making site. It is basically a one stop shop of many other sites on the internet that offer ways to make money, free things, or just plain old great deals. It has a a little... no a lot of everything.
Overall:If you can deal with an overload of information, and have no problem sifting through some junk this is a good resource site. This is perfect for those who go to garage sales and dig through those 25 cent boxes for those hard to find goodies.
