Ignore plato624 - good mobo!

This is an excellent motherboard for those of you that have older CPU's. This board features the LX chipset, so don't expect to plug in a Pentium 3 or an Athlon or anything like that. You are stuck with older Celerons and Pentium IIs. You can still use PC100 memory (limiting factor is the CPU). However, at the time it was the best motherboard out there. Mine is still running strong with a celeron 266 and 128mb PC100 SDRAM (as a server). If you need a inexpensive second machine, there is nothing wrong with this motherboard. Have reasonable expectations and do you your homework to make sure this board will work for you.
