The Bottom Line: I would recommend Dawn for all, it cleans just about anything.

I have been using Dawn dish liquid for as many years as I can remember. This is great for dishes, it cuts grease, stuck on food, etc. I have also been in the position where I have run out of laundry detergent and had to use Dawn in a pinch. Boy was I ever surprised, it cleaned my clothes great, as it took out some grease stains in clothes much to my surprise.
My husband uses Dawn to clean his hands after working on the car, etc. It cleans then with little to no grease on them.
I have oily hair and I like to use Dawn every now and then to wash my hair. It makes your hair shine and bouncy.
