ERRORS and CRASHES and NO HELP... OH MY!

The Bottom Line DO NOT BUY COMPAQ. THE NAME DOESN'T MEAN EVERYTHING, OR ANYTHING, FOR THAT MATTER.
Compaq Corporation does not seem to care much about the customer when it comes to their products. I decided to try a Compaq desktop because of the so-called great service and reputation. I was disappointed, however! Many errors had been occurring and my computer was practically worthless and not usable. It turned out that a cheap fan inside broke, causing my components to overheat, thus rendering my computer system useless. Because of the poor quality of this product, I had to wait an extremely long time and pay for repairs. This is NOT good customer service. They do provide much help or support, and in fact they do whatever they can to NOT help you.
