I've now bought 7 of these (I'm not kidding) from Voicestream/T-Mobile. Each one has worked fine for 1-3 months and then the headset jack has died. In fairness, I do use the headset jack fairly heavily, but I've used other phones in the past in the same way with no problems. I've tried both the Motorola headset and a Plantronics one with the same results. My headset use is as follows: I stick the headset in when I get in the car (3-4 times a day), and remove it when I get out. If you do this, don't buy the phone. Fortunately, Voicestream and now T-Mobile have replaced each one under warranty. However, I'm now sick of having to do this and plan to buy another phone ASAP.
