Pros: Easy to setup and get started. Less expensive than most desktop fountains.
Cons: Light is too fragile and breaks easily and really is not necessary.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for an accent piece that is out of the ordinary, try this little fountain.

I picked up this fountain in Wal-Mart for $19.00. It is just right for the desktop, and part of the fun is getting the rocks setup right for that "fountain sound". I also put a small figurine of a tiger on the top to finish it off. To avoid bacteria getting into the fountain, I use a spoonful of chlorine bleach. Otherwise, you may get an offensive smell from the fountain in a couple of days. You may also want to replace some of the rocks with coins -- I used a couple of the new gold dollar coins (as you can't seem to spend them anyplace).
If this fountain is an example of Homedic's quality, I would encourage you to buy their other fountains and wind chimes.
