Pros: Mass tricks that look amazing, awesome graphics, and a quick learning curve!
Cons: Only 8 characters and courses!
The Bottom Line: Most solid game on the PS2. The game beautiful and the tricks are out of this world. You owe it to yourself to own this game.

WOW!
How it stacks up:
Compare it to any other playstation 2 game out right now (2/20/01), and SSX will clearly come out on top. I can't think of another snowboarding game that can come close to this kind of fun.
Two player mode:
Head to head split screen action against one of your friends. This is one of the biggest reasons why I think this game is number one. The competition gets intense and very addictive. The ability to push your opponent in a heated race is just great.
The good:
The graphics and designs are simply outstanding. Never before have I seen such a graphicly smooth racing game. Long hours of replay value too. Characters are cool, and the courses are totally huge.
The bad:
Only 8 characters to choose from leaves me feeling pretty limited. Could of used a few more courses as well. Other then that, this is as top notch a game as you'll come across.
The Ugly:
Nothing... Really...
What I really thought:
I'm addicted. So's my neighbor, and my best friend. This game has it all, so I'm glad this was one of the first games I picked up when I first got my PS2.
