Pros: Great customer support, good coverage Cons: Slightly more expensive
I have been a customer of AT&T Wireless in Chicago for over two years. I first came to AT&T because of a great promotion they were offering. For the most part, I have been pleased with their service. However, when it came time to replace my phone...
Pros: Good coverage area, reliable GPRS/SMS service, Customer Service is a plus. Cons: Missed/dropped calls or unable to place calls at full signal strength.
I've been an AT&T Wireless customer since 2000 and never had any problems with their coverage or service until spring of 2004. I will break up this review into 3 parts, a Call part (the negative part of the review) , a Coverage Part, and Data part. ...
Pros: Mediocre coverage, Familiar phones, GSM Cons: Lousy reception in some areas, lacking web performance, Expensive
AT&T wireless is one of the most popular cell phone providers in the Chicagoland area. AT&T competes with many other providers such as Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, Cingular, Verizon, and etc... I know very many people that use AT&T. Mostly ...
Pros: Wide range of calling plans, Decent coverage (lots of towers) Cons: No Detailed Billing, Consistently Poor Customer Service
I recently cancelled my AT&T wireless account after more two years of changing plans, wrestling with their billing department and getting ignored for the most part.
The quality of the phone service itself (in terms of voice clarity and the...
Pros: Good Coverage, easy to understand plans Cons: High prices
ATT’s digital one rate plan offers great service, for a price. I have been an ATT customer for over 2 years and have been very pleased with my service thus far. I travel frequently between Philadelphia and Chicago and I have experienced great service in...
Pros: Good all around service, good coverage, free features Cons: Uneducated salespeople, limited choice of phones, contracts are back, expensive, no plan sharing, expensive 411.
Ahhh, AT&T. When I first got my phone from AT&T in 1998 they were the best game in town for high-volume national plans. Since then, prices from competitors have come down, but AT&T doesn't seem to react to that very quickly.
Pros: Clear calls, one rate no matter where, free web Cons: Not much, unless you're calling a Sprint phone
I read other reviews on this service -- and while I'm afraid I don't have much new to say, I do hope that, by repeating some of the things, I can provide further proof of this plan's advantages.
Pros: Great Coverage, Consistent Service, Good Customer Service Cons: Bad Roaming, Mildly Sneaky Sales, Pricey
I have to admit, I really look into things when I become interested in purchasing them, wireless being no exception. Around November 2000, I decided that I was in dire need of a mobile phone. So, living in Chicago at the time, I sat down for a few...
Pros: broad service area, no long distance or roaming charges Cons: no plan smaller than 600 minutes/month
I travel a lot for work and one rate has been a Godsend for me! I picked a local Chicago number so my friends can call me without incurring long distance charges when I'm out of town. And I can call from whatever the city of the day is without those...
Pros: None come to mind Cons: Woeful reception, Hannibal Lector customer service
I chucked my Nokia into the Hudson river. Couldn't help it. It was just one of those things you do when you're on a boat between New York City and Hoboken, New Jersey. It overtook me when a crucial phone conversation turned into, "You said WHAT?...
Pros: They provide cellular service. Cons: Incompetent customer service, deceptive business practices, customer is viewed as peon, no chairs in stores.
