Pros: Good signal coverage, inexpensive plan. Cons: Customer service
Customer Service, part 1 –
We had to purchase the latest phone that we received. The cost was $41.00. The phone was shipped to us. It didn’t work.. I called Customer Service (CS) and asked for a new phone and a return authorization...
Pros: great service, inexpensive plan, lots of bonus features, free Motorola L2, impressive customer service Cons: none as of yet!
Recently I had the pleasure of doing business with Cingular Wireless Service during the purchase of a new cell phone and the plan to go with it. Contacting a sales representative from the company directly, I was able to get what I feel to be a pretty ...
Please forgive me, but I wrote this review in the Los Angeles slot, but felt it needed to be heard in the General category as well. Folks in other cities need to experience the hell I just went through. I feel as if people in other cities might not ...
Pros: Friendly, helpful, willing to go out of the way to help Cons: Online buyers, beware of the small (should we save invisible) print.
The year was 2002; I finally purchased my first cell phone plan. It was horribly expensive, had horrible customer service and even worse signal reliability. That's been the story of my cell phone life since then. I've gone through 3, possibly 4, ...
Pros: None Cons: Horrible response time, mismangement, rude, unknowledgeable
This review is about the customer service of Cingular, not the calling plans. Over the last 4 months, I have had a nightmare dealing with Cingular and was glad to see that there is a general category!
Pros: great customer service; growing everyday Cons: spotty service areas; roaming charges
My family is just beginning to catch up in the race to be technologically advanced. Well, that's not quite true. We aren't even close to catching up. We own some of the gadgets; now, if we just understood them!
Pros: None Cons: Complete disregard for customer service - no service after the sale
OK, so we have all come to expect the occasional dropped call now and then. But what I have experienced with Cingular is nothing short of a calculated, profit driven lack of customer service. We have had problems with coverage - dropped calls, etc. ...
Pros: They send you the bill EVERY month. Cons: They send you the bill EVERY month. Even when you cancel. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I am writing in complaint of treatment of the lowest kind I have received in my history as a paying customer. Having originally purchased a cellular phone through AT&T Wireless in 2004 and a single plan, I must say I was singularly happy with their ...
Pros: Excellent customer service, reasonable rate plans, rollover of unused minutes, digital clarity, Cons: I didn't switch to Bell South Mobility sooner!
I've had cellular service for about 10 years and had never changed providers. My providers changed over the years, due to buy-outs, mergers, etc., but I never had any complaints about service or reliability.
Pros: coverage area, cell phone options Cons: CS non-existent, plans too expensive, they modify contract plan at whim, roaming_charges_for_known_coverage_areas_when_an_outage_occurs
This is a Long Review ... But I hope others will read it and not have to deal with the same lack of customer-service. I was a customer of AT&T for 5 years with up to 5 cell phones (currently 2 - changed 3 to Verizon when contracts ended after the ...
Pros: Just like someone giving you a check for $120 every month (sort of!) Cons: Some "extra" charges, not complete coverage areas. :(
Cingular is by far the best wireless phone company, in my opinion. =(
This is a review of Cingular's national service and rates; once Epinions sets up a Cingular in Seattle category I'll tell you about Cingular where I live!
Pros: All Customer Service Reps were courteous and professional. Cons: Service after the sale is horribly limited, support call was routed to India for service.
Once a happy customer of AT&T, I have been taken hostage by the merger with Cingular, and am now being forced to accept substandard customer service. My most recent experience involves trying to excercise the warranty on a phone that shuts down on ...
Pros: Excellent Nationwide Plans, Coverage, and Rates! Cons: Still get delayed billing when travelling outside of your Home area.
I have to first describe how Cingular works, then I'll tell you my CS experience.
Cingular still uses the old cellular technology and not the PCS technology. The is good because you can get service via virtually any tower out there. I often...
