My wife recently decided that she wanted a cell phone for a sense of security when she traveled. We saw an offer at the local store for a phone with Cingular. We checked the flyer that explained the service and coverage area. It seemed that Cingular...
As a principal in an Architectural firm here in Orlando, excellence in service is probably the #1 criterion in choosing any type of service provider for our company.
As most providers offer roughly the same plans/fees we went with BellSouth...
Pros: I got a good plan, easy customer service, lots of minutes Cons: Customer service bites.
I am completely redoing this review because I have now upgraded to GSM service. It's a world of difference and deserves a different review. After all the drama, that old 5160 finally died and I HAD to get a new phone. So I slogged into the Cingular ...
They are the biggest joke in town. I choose BellSouth for my cellular needs because they are my residential provider. I thought I would get a good deal. Boy,was I wrong. I signed the one year contract(mistake number one). I was told that I would not be...
Pros: Good Customer Service Cons: Way Too Expensive For What You Get
I have this plan for myself & at first, thought it was a great deal. I soon came to realize that there are better deals out there. The more I spoke with my friends about their cell phone services, the more I felt like an idiot. I am now stuck for...
Pros: Low mionthly costs Cons: long term commitment, poor service, high long distance charges
As a new arrival in Orlando I was looking for an alternative to the standard land line telephone and after some discussion with the local Radio Shack manager decided that the low cost Bellsouth Mobility plan would be the best for us. Mistake..First the...
Pros: Service is good, rate plans affordable. Cons: Terrible phone selection, online support lacking.
Seeing the previous reviews from the years past, it looks like Cingular took notice of their service problems and made changes. I've been using the service for 1 year so far of my 2 year contract (required to obtain a free phone), and have been pretty...
Pros: Overall good reception and few dropped calls. Easy to read billing. Text messaging. Cons: Awful customer service. Roamed a lot. Plans aren't worth the money.
When I first signed up with Cingular in December of 2002, I was pleased with the technological side of my service--I had very few, if any, dropped calls, great reception, a good phone, and so on. I was always going over my minutes, though, because the ...
We moved to orlando a year ago and needed cell phones,so we were going to use pay in advance ones because we wouldnt use them very often.Well a Bell south rep convinced us to go with their company.I thought ok as long as it is not sprint I dont care (I...
Pros: Ability to change plans as your needs change Cons: Cost/time limits on upgrading to new equipment
I have had Cingular service, formerly Bellsouth for over 2 years now. I have to say that the service has been very good. Since my needs seem to have changed when it came to plans, and minutes spent talking, they allowed me to change to plans that would...
Cingular in Florida including Orlando by rbeardsl ,Jun 09 '05
Pros: cheap Cons: phones that do not work are useless
Stay away from these clowns. I am on day 18 since I bought the two phones and after numerous sessions with their tech support still do not have all the services working. First there was no web service. Then there was web service but no ability to call from one cingular cell to another, then there was the loss of web again, then there was the inability to get calls from land lines and now I am back to no web service.
You get what you pay for. These guys seem cheaper but having given up Verizon for these clowns....what a mistake on my part.
Stay Away From Cingular Wirless In Orlando!! by florida_mom56 ,Jul 18 '04
Pros: Kool Phones....Role-Over Is Good...... Cons: Cingular Service Stinks!!!
With Cingular's GSM service in Orlando I have gotten tons of dropped calls, and very bad reception! I have two phones with Cingular's GSM Plan....1-Motorola t720, and Sony Ericsson t616. I was wrong 4 rushing into this great deal they said they had. Be4 I had Cingular I had AT&T Wireless. AT&T was great you would get service any place you went to. But since I got Cingular and was told I would get better service than AT&T........ well lets just say I am counting down the days untill my contract ends.... STAY AWAY... THEY LIE!!!!!!! They Don't Set Clocks On Their Network when it is day-light-savings time and that makes you get charged out of your anytime minents. So lets say u make a call at 9:00 pm Cingular will say u made the call at 8:00 pm and take it out of your Anytime Minents.... Not Right!!!! AND OH YEAH CINGULAR HAS HATE WEBSITES ABOUT THEM..... Go To Google and You Will Found Out... Type Cingular Sucks..... on GOOGLE.com
When My Contract Is ^ I will be going back To AT&T WIRELESS!
