Pros: The Phone Style is nice Cons: Roaming at all times, Phone bill is out of wack, Sprint people are snotty!
My experience with Sprint has been very rocky! I chose Sprint because I have no credit and they don't need a billion dollars down for a phone like some other places. I also had a few friends with phones from them and they said they were ok. I guess...

Pros: Nice commercials and good promises for great service and call quality. Cons: Dropped calls, poor signal strength in Brooklyn and poor customer service.
Ever since changing my number and relocating - I have been plagued with errors in billing, problems with my plan and general hassles from Sprint - not to mention having more dropped calls than ever before. The websites do not work properly due to their ...

Pros: Good pricing, feature-rich Cons: Slightly weaker coverage than other services
I have experience with three service providers in the New York city service area. Of Voicestream, Sprint PCS, and Verizon wireless, Sprint PCS is the winner. By far.
In terms of raw coverage, Verizon beats the other services, but Sprint holds...

Pros: price Cons: reception, customer service
I originally chose SPRINT PCS because the price was good and they advertised that their all digital network was so great and they had coverage in other cities that I visit. At the time I got free first incoming minute and free nights and weekends. ...

Pros: Well... it works Cons: Charge for everything! Messed up charges! Bad service rep.
This is my personal experience and plus I've heard others who had gone through similar ordeals. First the local service itself. There're always long lines at local Sprint stores to use the automatic payment machines, and they don't accept Credit Cards!...

Pros: Better voicemail than other providers; lower priced plans. Cons: horrible service in ny metro area;
dropped call on almost every call;
I've had Sprint for 2 years now and the only reason I stayed this long was because of the price. But now, it seems like all the cell phone providers are on the same page with price. So, now look at service and quality.
In the NY metro area,...

Pros: reception is decent, customer service people are nice Cons: network is overloaded and very unreliable during evenings and peak hours
I used Sprint PCS when I lived in LA - it worked great out there and whenever I was on interstate highways on road trips. I've since moved to New York, and, while Sprint's coverage in Manhattan is good, their network reliability is terrible, especially...

Pros: Decent phone selection; helpful store staff. Cons: Very spotty coverage
NOTE in 3/03: A long time after the review below, Sprint hasn't changed much. Friends who held on, hoping for improvement, are checking out. Others who were drawn in by its deals or hot phones are looking at other providers. It may have great outside...

Pros: You can always go to another service provider that will give you SERVICE and provide. Cons: bad cost. service, dropped calls, no voicemail even if you have VM (read on)
The phones that Sprint uses (Samsung his way to the bank) are garbage. I did a survey on the phone and SPRINT and most if not all had the same problems I had. Calls would be dropped even with a signal. Where you might have a signal one day you may not...
