I purchased my sony wega about a year ago and have had NO trouble with it-at all. For the price difference i wish i had gone with the 36 inch rather than the 32, but didn't have space for the 36" at the time. The picture is phenomenal. My friends who have larger tvs are jealous because the picture on my little 32" looks so much better. They'd rather come to my house and watch dvds on the wega! As for the sound, we have it hooked up to external speakers so i can't say much about that. The remote isn't all that great, but its not awful either. when you have so many functions, you have to have a large amount of buttons but i still think there is room for improvement here. This tv is very stylish too! The flat screen not only has a better picture, but looks very up to date. This tv had the best picture of the 100 or so different sets at the place where we bought it. I have been absolutely satisfied with it 100% and will probably buy another one soon. Its nice having the controls ontop too (i have little kids) and inputs on the front allow for easy hookup of video equipment and digital cameras.
