| rssiegel's Full Review: Audiovox CDM4000 |
I own two CDM4000 phones and they are both excellent phones (wife and kids use them). They are easy to use, battery life is great, and seem to be very well constructed. I also own a Motorola StarTac 7860 (see my review on this as well), which is also an excellent phone, but more costly (about $200 vs. $50-$60 for the CDM4000).
Another plus of this phone is the ease in which you connect the desk-top charger and cigarette lighter charger (utilizes a simple jack-type plug as opposed to the typical awkward multi-connection plug you see on most other phones, including the StarTac).
About the only negative thing about this phone is the lack of a vibration (silent ring) option, which is why I got the StarTac
If you're looking for a durable and reliable dual band cell phone, I would highly suggest the CDM4000.
