Unbelievable Deal for 12 month subscription

This is an update, I hope that what has happened to me has not happened to anyone who has read the previous version of this opinion. I have left the original opinion as a refrence.
Let me first start out by saying that I was not simply misled by Sprint, I was blatantly lied to. What I have already stated in the original opinion is exactly, after much reassurance by the Sprint representative, what I was told I was to receive for signing on for 12 months, I am not mistaken. What I actually received was only 1 free option for a year, not the $100.00 credit. I am furious with Sprint, they compeletly deny ever offering me this deal. The only word I can think of to describe Sprint's buisiness practices is sinister. With no written proof of a contract I have no way to substantiate my claim. So it seems that I am essentialy the property of Sprint PCS for the next 10 months unless I want to pay the $150.00 discontinuation of service fee. I was offered one month free service after 45 minuites of the most inane dialogue I believe I have ever been a part of, me insisting that I was lied to and the supervisor insisting that I must be mistaken.
I would suggest never doing buisiness with Sprint, no matter how good the deal they offer seems. Let this story be proof of what this company stands for: renegotiating "verbal" agreements on a whim and gouging current customers through false representation, perhaps to enable them to offer better deals to new customers.
Original opinion:
I came across this incredible deal after calling sprint PCS customer service to learn how to change my cell phone number. The call took nearly a century to get through but once it did I was supprised to find such friendly and thorough service. I will start with the hook, since that is really the most important part of any "Great Deal".
The hook is a one year subscription to Sprint PCS, so if you are not sure you are going to stay with this company for a while or if you hate Sprint, don't consider this as an option. The "hook" wouldn't mean much if it weren't for the $150.00 charge for cancelation. With this in mind I will give you the details of the offer:
1) A $100.00 credit on your second bill after signing up for the 12 month subscription
2) With the new $30.00 plan you recieve 180 minutes compared to the 120 offered with the less expensive plan. (!! BUT !! your first incoming minute is no longer free)
3) one of the following free features:
a} 200 free minutes nights and weekends (after 7:00pm week days and all weekend starting at 7:00 Friday night)
b} 50 minutes free roaming
c} free wireless web
I signed up a month ago and it seems like a great deal when I consider that I am getting 3 months free service with the $100.00 credit.
