| SocialDarwinist's Full Review: Infinity RS-3 Speaker (Black) |
Folks, if you are looking for the speaker with which to finish out that surround sound package, then you need look no further. I shopped around this summer looking for a small pair of bookshelf speakers that had enough sound to act like a real set of freestanding floor speakers. I was planning on buying the next level down, the RS-2, but when I listened and compared the RS-3, my decision was made. These speakers have a much better base response, and you can really hear drums and low-frequency sound better than the RS-2. They are obviously more expensive than their siblings, but trust me they are worth the price. I personally don't see any point in buying speakers that are not the best for their size/application. If you are in the market for a pair of speakers for a back channel, or for a front channel, which is what I use them for, definitely consider the RS-3. They also sound great just playing normal CD music.
