I have been a Dish Network customer since 1996. I was sick of my sparkly, no stereo, over priced, just plain sad, cable service. So I went shopping. I like many others chose this service because it had less expensive packages. Now I have upgraded to the Dish 500 and have a much bigger package. I am still happy with my service and am anxiously awaiting the expansion of their High Definition (HD) programming so that I can upgrade again. I am planning on staying with Dish Network system for the years to come.
Some of my friends have jumped ship and gone to DSS because of their all-in-one HD receiver. If you have to have it now, that may be the way to go; but the HD technology issues still haven't been settled and I don't want to waste my money.
My only complaint, I want Dolby Digital (DD) on the movie channels, not just Pay Per Views. I believe patience will provide for my wants.
