Hello Everyone,
It's me me again to tell you a little bit about satellite tv!
First of all, I was going to get cable hooked up where I live in Greenwood, Florida, until the cable company told me it would be $75.00 just to screw a connector together on the powerpole!! I told the cable company that they had to be out of there mind! so I did some shopping around. I called direct tv satellite company to see what they had to say. For a low price of $60.00, they came to my house, installed my satellite dish and receiver and tutored me on how to use the system. I didn't buy the dish and receiver though, I just rent it for $8.00 a month.
Right now, I receive 200 channels of viewing pleasure which includes, 7 HBO's, 6 SHOWTIMES, 4 CINEMAX'S, 4 STAR'S, AND 4 ENCORES!!! now for $90.00 dollars a month, and that is with the renting of the equiptment, I get a wide variety of viewing. Also, I have payperview stations, 100 of them. for the same price as going to the video store and renting a movie, I just find the movie that I want to watch on payperview, and for $2.99, I can buy the movie with my remote and never leave the house!! Now cable on the other hand, would have cost me $55.00 a month for just basic cable and maybe hbo, and only one hbo!!! Now I don't know about all of you people out there, but satellite tv is alot more reasonable for the service that you can get!! Now there is just one downfall to satellite tv, and I haven't had a whole lot of trouble with it, and that is, when a storm arises, you just may loose reception because the activity of the storm is blocking the signal between your dish and the satellite. But a small price to pay!!
