| pelle4ever's Full Review: Hughes Networks D4532 DIRECTV |
I just purchased my dish from Best Buy in my area, and I am really missing my cable. First of all when I asked for special installation I was promised the world, but when the installer came to the house he told me that he had too many jobs to do that day to install the boxes on the televisions I wanted it set up on. Now that I have it I have learned that you better have a clear site to put up the dish. If there is any interference at all you lose the signal. I ordered the local channel package so I could watch my local channels, well you do not get all of your local channels, so check and make sure which local channels you will recieve before ordering this upgrade. If you like movies its great when the signal is clear. Sports fans will be disappointed when they realize that most of the games you want to watch are blacked out by the local teams. You can see them if you purchase the sports packages from the dish network. these options run about $130.00 a season. My opinion is to stick with cable. ESPN will give you some of the games you want to watch, and for you movie buffs most the HBO (7), Cinemax (5), Starz (7), and Showtime (5) all run the same movies whether you ar ein the East or the West. Cable may be expensive in some areas, but when you sit down to watch that show you couldnt wait to see and your dish signals is scrambled you will appreciate the cable more than ever.
