| sirscreem's Full Review: General Reviews of Cellular One Customer Service |
I have actually found CellularOne customer service to be helpful and friendly most of the time. One thing I have noticed from other opinions I have read, is that many people may not realize that CellularONE is a franchise, each with its own parent company. I have dealt with the customer service centers with franchises other then my own, and have found that some were good, and others less then enjoyable.
While I realize that each person who had a bad experience with CellularOne's customer service will always look poorly on CellularOne, it may be the parent company to blame. If they don't provide proper training and information to their employees, then it reflect in how the customers are treated.
When it comes to choosing a Cellular phone service, no matter what the company, ask questions, ask detailed questions, and above all read the contract before you sign it! It may be tedious, but its better then getting stuck paying for a service for 12 months or more that is horrible. Another suggestion is to actually calling the customer service before hand. See how you are treated, and if the answers you get from the customer service are the same you get from the sales rep at the store.
I think that if we as customers better inform ourselves, we will know what and who we are dealing with, and that in turn will help us have better service.
