OK, so I'm not an audiophile. I'm not rich, either. Can't someone of modest means find a nice, decent-sounding mini-system for under $200? I thought I had when I bought the AIWA NSX-AJ14, but I was wrong. (My mother always said you get what you pay for!)
What I really wanted was a system with at least a 3-CD changer that could shuffle the songs and decent sound. Not too much to ask.
When I brought the AIWA home and popped some of my favorite CD's into the player -- what an awful surprise! Those Doobie Brothers harmonies were destroyed!! I mean absolutely destroyed! Think of the song "Black Water" with those fantastic harmonies at the end of the song. Just awful! Couldn't even hear some of them. I had that system back in the box and drove it back to Circuit City in no time.
Do not waste your money on this one.
