We picked this particular camera (JVC GR-AXM700U) after looking at several and have never regretted it. We have used it for many different scenarios from Nascar racing to our boys football games. It has a 44x digital hyper zoom for fast back and forth motion. The snap shot function is my favorite. It holds up to 44 snap shots and comes with the adaptor to purge the pictures into your computer. The 3" LCD monitor makes it very easy to review video and pictures. Also comes with several captions (Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, etc.) I actually can't think of anything that I don't like about this camcorder.
