I can't believe how great this is. I just bought the SAT A4 system and installed it with the basic cable replacement package. I can't believe that I get digital picture, digital sound - AC3 encoded when available - vcr synch options, an !!Easy to use timer!! and a remote that's intuitive as well as multi-taskable.
With this unit five different people can set their favorite 9 channels. You can jump between unlimited numbers of programs. The channel guide has many options and you can see what will be coming on for the next few days. As well as view a description of the program that you are watching, it's rating and audio track options.
In one word, amazing.
The cable replacement package is only 19.99 / month in my area. I was paying 39.95 / month for basic cable.
With directv I get the same number of channels, better quality sound and picture for half the price. Where's the catch? ***Get this*** There is no catch. It's as great as it looks.
