If you are like me, you are totally and utterly confused by cellular phone plans. I mean, you've gotta worry about WHERE you can call without being charged a fortune, WHEN you can call w/o busting the bank, WHAT the termination fee is if you completely hate your plan, WHO to call if there's a problem, and so on and so on.
Cellular One's Family Talk Plan cuts through the confusion.
You pay for the phones. You pay a fixed amount per month for the plan. That's it. If you go over your minutes, you pay 55 cents for each additional minute.
Despite general public opinion that cell phone plans are more difficult to decipher than Egyptian heiroglyphics, Cellular One's Family Talk Plan is simple to understand.
The main problem with the family talk plan is the consistent addition of roaming charges to your bill. You must be careful and watch each statement so that you are not charged roaming charges because another tower has picked up your signal. Despite this, my signal has consistently come in clearer than any other cell phone I've ever used (and my father uses a $300 cell phone for his work...my phone cost $99 and works 200% better!). Even inside of a building or on a moving train (I travel by train back and forth to Rutgers University) my signal is uninterrupted.
Cell One's customer service reps are understanding of this matter, however, and each time I've called (I am a Rutgers student and there's an AT & T tower just outside the University that picks up my signal often) they've credited the roaming amount to my account. I know, it's a pain in the butt to have to keep calling, but it's beyond Cell One's control, and they ARE, after all, more than happy to credit it to your account and help you solve the problem all together.
If you're looking for a multi-phone plan, Cell One's Family Talk is definitely the way to go!
