| carter56's Full Review: Hughes Networks D1131 Single LNB DIRECTV System |
We bought a Hughes satellite system about 3 years ago. One of the main reasons was the rise in cost of cable. We look at tv programing in a whole different way now. We are using DTV for our programs. We were a little lost at working with a new system, but Hughes and DTV were very patient with us and very polite. With DTV you can have 5 HBO channels for about the cost of one on cable. Cable is upgrading constantly to keep up with satellite but look at your bill and you will see who is paying for this. YOU ARE. Hughes system has not had any problems in our home, and we have a 14 yr. old son. DTV needs more customer service reps, but are very helpful once you get in touch with them. If you are into computers heavy, you may consider getting the dual dish for computer and television even you don"t use computer programs right away. It will save you money later.
