These speakers will have you shouting, "I'm Back in Black!"

by nojmplease , Sep 09 '05
Pros: Exceptional clarity at all volumes, build quality and style, powerful bass woofer
Cons: Heavy, harder to find these days, requires one power outlet per speaker
The story behind my Infinity Overture 1's is actually rather surprising. I picked these lovely units almost 5 years ago; they were on clearance at Circuit City. Sure, they had some nicks and cosmetic issues, but they played perfectly well, so I managed ...

Best little speaker in town

by alfred_payton , Dec 27 '00
Pros: Big sound, good bass, small size
Cons: Amp switching is loud, not commercially available anymore
I replaced my aging pair of huge AR 9LSi speakers about a year ago with a home theater system based on the Overture 1 speakers. I was so impressed with the sound from these little guys I bought 7 of them, 5 for my living room and 2 for my bedroom. Since...

by aaronu , Dec 09 '99
Pros: clean mids, strong bass
Cons: placement sensitive; clicking noise

by kdhn72c , Dec 24 '99
Pros: Excellent sound, built in powered sub, small and compact
Cons: Heavy
I bought my Overture 1 about 4 months ago. I was looking for a Center Channel to complete my system. I compared the Infinity CC-3 and the Overture 1 when I was looking to make a purchase. I decided to go with the Overture 1 and I am very pleased I did....

Small Yet Large

by Hotrodtele , Jul 04 '00
Pros: Excellent sound
Cons: None
My first impression of these things were "come on, these cant sound better than my 15" cerwin vega's!" Shortly after I turned them up I bought them. After I brought them home I wired them through the "A" side of my reciever, my...
