nice mp3 player

by mistyea , Dec 13 '00
Pros: great little mp3 player
Cons: pricey
I think this MP3 player is excellent. This MP3 player has enough memory for all your songs and is small, portable and comes with an excellent docking station. It looks very retro and stylish and something you would be proud to wear in your back pocket....

A mp3 player worth buying

by knutsjay , Oct 07 '01
Pros: Size, Weight, FM Tuner. Online software upgrades.
Cons: No onboard memory. Memory cards are very expensive.
When I researched the mp3 players I was looking for two primary features compact size and a FM tuner. The Nomad has them both and so much more. Having owned the Creative Nomad II for just over 6months I’m very happy with its operation.

This...

The Rio 500 is no match

by jhcashman , May 09 '00
Pros: lot of extra features
Cons: no pink and blue version
if you are in the market for an MP3 player and are considering the Rio 500 THEN THINK AGAIN! Diamond Multimedia's Rio was the first MP3 player but it is far from the best. The Nomad to has more features at a similar price.

Here are some key...

One of the Best Devices of its kind

by ak2525 , May 20 '01
Pros: small, lightweight, great sound, USB port, supports many formats
Cons: No onboard memory Average software LCD menu isn't the best
The Nomad II is a slick looking device. And sleek. It is about the size of a pack of cigarettes. The Nomad II introduces two major features that are quite new in the world of MP3 devices.
1. The in-built FM tuner, which stores 32 radio stations...

Nice, but with flaws

by sfjase , Sep 18 '01
Pros: small size, stylish appearance, mac compatible
Cons: awkward button placement, no remote, poor construction
Overall, this is a nice MP3 player, and I've made good use of it for the couple months I've owned it. On the plus side, it's small, light-weight, and stylish. Also: the supplied Mac software works great (there is also Windows software), and the...

Good unit, cruddy software

by marmich123 , Mar 11 '01
Pros: Great sound, good quality unit
Cons: Software is terrible
This unit is a hot-rod among MP3 players. Too bad the software doesn't keep up.

The good: good sound, easy to use. Solidly built. I've had this unit for a year and it's been a very solid performer. I've used it, dropped it, erased, changed...

Nice little gadget

by crabtrp , Feb 28 '01
Pros: FM Radio, nice little package, good quality, nice sound
Cons: Software, recording from radio not great and battery life not good.
I spent a lot of time researching all MP3 players and finally went with the NOMAD II MG. It is a stylish little thing. The LCD display is a little small and the controls a little difficult to get used to.

I initially had a little trouble...

Nice Mp3 player if you're willing to pay

by silvem , Jun 16 '01
Pros: Sleek Design, Compact Size, Numerous Features
Cons: Price, Poorly Designed Carrying Case, Difficult to Access Buttons with Case On
One thing that I like about mp3 players is that you can store your favorite songs on them until you get bored of those songs, then you delete them and replace them with your newest favorite songs. The reason I decided to buy an mp3 player was that I...

Great little player

by Bradman Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Nov 20 '00
Pros: Small, FM tuner, microphone
Cons: Battery eater, short headphone cord
I've had my Nomad II for about 2 months now and I still love it. I originally had the Sony Music Clip but I returned it because of the freaky copy protection software (won't let you backup your collection). The Nomad II is a great little player and the...

Best MP3 Player

by rivimont , Jan 13 '02
Pros: FM Tuner, Very Small, Cradle, USB connection
Cons: Functioning buttons, included case is pointless
I had the Rio PMP 300 and was looking for a replacement. I didn't have enough memory and it was extremely slow through the serial port.

I compared many mp3 players and it all boiled down to this one. The FM Tuner is extremely useful, when...

Best MP3 player

by contango , May 03 '00
Pros: No fear of obsolescence
Cons: Batteries last in the 7-10hr range (estimate)
Before purchasing, I examined available information on a variety of products, including opinions written here. I decided on the Nomad 2 for two reasons: support of open architecture and of current/future digital music standards. Unlike other products,...

Buy at least another 64mb

by nissan21 , Jul 11 '02
Pros: Good Player for price
Cons: Need to get more memory,
I purchsed my Nomad back in December, and was supprised to see that they are still very close in price to what I paid for mine. I use this MP3 Player every day, and have never had a problem with it.

Realistically the memory that comes with...
