Being an IT Professional, Database Software is part of my everyday activities. Along with using the software myself, training department heads to use the software as well is an important role. Managing MS-SQL databases can be very easy or it can be extremely difficult, depending on the size, complexity, and the type of information being managed. MS-SQL is a very flexible and ITPRO-friendly software package. It comes complete with database management software (Enterprise Manager), which allows for easy data entry and database management VIA remote connection.
From an IT Professionals view, MS-SQL is a great product. But, we have to remember that not everyone has the same knowledge base as the average IT Pro. From a Novices stand-point, MS-SQL is a very complex software package. In order to do simple database activities, any MS-SQL user must know a large amount about the actual system before beginning.
In this case, MS-SQL is a great software package, but it lacks an easy to use interface for our everyday computer users. There are many ways to simplify the input and manage of data within a MS-SQL system, but None come with the actual software package.
