| Howie11239's Full Review: Vacuvin Winemaster |
It's large, bulky, and confusing, but once mastered it's a great wine opener. The Vacuvin Winemaster includes an excellent foil cutter and a relatively easy to use corkscrew device that is the largest and bulkiest thing around for this purpose. Still, it is easy to use. I haven't had a problem opening any bottles since I purchased the unit several months ago. At about $60.00, it is, however, not for the occasional wine drinker. This is a serious tool for the serious wine drinker. Once affixed to the neck of your bottle -- a simple pull on the neck of the mechanism, all that's left is to figure out which wing gets pushed and which gets pulled. The action is light and easy, but without the manual, it is quite difficult, indeed. Don't lose it. Alternatively, drink wine more regularly than I do so you won't forget. Of course, if you drink too much wine you might forget how to use it anyway, but I'm getting silly.
This is a product that is well worth the price and will provide years of use and satisfaction.
