This was one of our anniversary gifts in reality but I am purchasing this product for a friend's wedding gift. I was very pleased with this goblet that I am sure the bride and groom will also be.
This is a good quality goblet/wine glass. The rim is perfectly rounded and smooth. I appreciate the clearness of this goblet/wine glass. There is no smokey or cloudy residue.
I do not recommend putting this product in a dishwasher. I did, and one of mine chipped slightly at the rim. I recommend that you wash by hand with a gentle soap (I use Dove) and wiping it dry immediately with a gentle towel, not a harsh dish towel.
When you put this product up when not is use, do not store it away upside down, you run the possiblity of ruining the high quality rim. Instead, try what I do. I use a small piece of velvet and insert it in the cup section and store on a cheesecloth up high. Even with the velvet inserted, you will have lint gatherings, so when you are ready to use it, wipe it gently out before usage.
The more care you give this product, the longer you will have it years down the road for those special evenings.
