Pros: Lots of Replaybility, and Levels seem have a better presentation than other games. Cons: Bad ending sequence, very few cinematics, some texture warping, and Bots can find out your location immediately during Capture the Flag Games
A few months ago, I purchased Unreal Tournament, because I liked the demo. Usually I'm a console player who plays RPGs like Final Fantasy 8 and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but something provoked me to purchase a PC game that has a weak...

Pros: Fantastic graphics. Love the sniper rifle! Cons: Does not do well on some PCs with older video cards. Takes lots of time.
When my husband started gibbering like a little kid with a brand new toy, I knew that there must be a new game in the house. Begrudgingly, I dragged myself from my own computer to go peer over at his screen.
Imagine my surprise when he...

Pros: Fantastic gamplay, Endless fun Cons: Multiplayer is slugush over dialup
Unreal Tournament
Are you sick and tired of all the Doom offspring games such as Quake? Well I am quite frankly. At the release of Quake 3 was also the release of a game called Unreal Tournament with both of them being sequels to previous versions...

Pros: The most adrenaline pumping game you'll ever play. Graphics are awesome, sounds are realistic, tons and tons of Maps... plus there are maps and skins that you can download off the internet. When you pay $50 for the game, it'll probably be the last $50 you Cons: If your computer sucks don't even think of getting the game. It takes too much space and memory, all the updates, mods etc.are hard to keep track of, you'll get confused configuring the controls.
I have the Macintosh version (413) of Unreal Tournament.
The game is more exciting to play than any of my Sony Playstation games, this game in fact makes playing my Playstation feel like I'm playing an 8-bit Sega console game.
Your goal...

Pros: Yee HAW!!! Cons: Loading and execution strangely glitchy from time to time.
...despite numerous glitches on the router that we have in the basement. I will warn you now, this review is going to be full of flat technical stuff..But I am flat only to be kind to everyone who buys Unreal Tournament and straps themselves in for a...

Pros: Great graphics, sound, and gameplay Cons: Too easy for some people
Unreal Tournament, the semi-sequal to Epic Megagames' Unreal is a site to see. With its rich game play, amazing graphics, and outstanding sound makes Unreal Tournament a game for all of you that like to frag with the best of them.
The...

Pros: Very fast, smooth sweet grpahics, challenging single player mode Cons: Very violent
As a diehard Quaker, I picked this one up with a bit skeptical of how good it could be. To be honest, the only reason I did was because I didn't have my Voodoo card yet so I couldn't play Quake III. Well let me tell you, I don't regret picking this one...

Pros: high fun factor, looks great, plays better, good bots Cons: may be a bit gory for the youngsters, requires good hardware for best effects
What makes a good first person shooter? At the most simple level, raw
polygon-churning 3d power seems to help. I mean, Doom was cool in 1991,
but today its sprite-based creatures just won't cut it. But there was
something that set...

Pros: Hundreds of available maps with awesome graphics Cons: too many servers to ping
It all came down to either getting Unreal Tournament or Quake3. I've played both demos before deciding on which one I would get and I ended up with Unreal Tournament. The determining factor that stirred me to this game is its awesome graphics; the...

Pros: Great levels, awesome bots, single/multiplayer, quality design Cons: Uhm...still thinking...give me a minute...
In 20 years or so, when we are crawling around in ruined cities hunted by machines, we are going to look back in retrospect and decide it was a bad idea to develop AI where computers stalk humans. For the moment, however, I am honored to be fragged...

Pros: graphics, no slowdown, sounds, no matter how good you are someone is just as good Cons: lot of hard players in the world
Only in this great country of America can you fire a spinning razor blade and get points for It. Sure, you can fire a rocket into someone’s gut, or pull a Vietnam on a bunch of aliens, But that is old school now we can shoot toxic waste at each other! In...

Pros: The graphics. The sounds. The price. Plays fine on lower-end machines. The AI is AMAZING. Cons: This FPS is more addictive than heroin, I'd think.
In the Beginning, there was Wolfenstein 3D. 'Wolf' begat DooM, which begat DooM II. Thus, the battle for "Queen of the FPS" was ON. Queen DooM, being the first title worthy of being named Queen, was quickly ushered to the throne, and crowned,...

Pros: Beautiful graphics, intense game play, incredible soundtrack/sound f/x, a bundle of fun, multi-platform (Windows, Linux, PS2) Cons: Nothing worth mentioning
Very rare is the game that can grab me, draw me in, and make me completely lose track of time. Rarer still is the First Person Shooter which can do it. Unreal Tournament does just that. And while there have been many, many epinions about it already, I am...

Pros: Too many to list.... Cons: I guess we gotta die sometime!
Unreal Tournament is the BEST game to have on my hard drive or yours! I played plenty of first person shooters before, but none even COMPARES to UT! Why? How about three reasons....
Reason 1: The graphics are awesome! I have a Pentium 3...

Pros: Graphics, Good Bot AI, Level Design Rocks! Cons: Windows-like interface, Ram requirement huge, slow modems experience lag.
"Boom! Bam! Ultra Kill! Monster Kill!" What is that? A scared-of-the-dark neighbor's kid with a nerf gun? No! It's me in my basement fragging and getting fragged on the best FPS ever in my eyes- UT, or Unreal Tournament.
This is...
