Don't Be A Sucker!

If you are buying a brand new appliance what are the chances that it will break in the 2-3 years that the warranty covers? My educated guess is slim to none. You appliance will probably break down years after the appliance warranty expires and you have wasted all the money you spent on it. And you know what? You could have put that same amount of money away in your own bank account so that you could actually use it when your appliance does break down.

Think about it! The salesperson is just trying to make more money off of you by persuading you to purchase the warranty. Of course he is going to convince you that you are taking a chance by not getting it. That is his job and that is how he makes more money.

My opinion is that you don't need the warranty. Chances are it won't help you and you will just be wasting your hard earned money and who wants to do that?
