Pros: Competitive pricing, excellent technical support and customer service Cons: I have not found any yet
Introduction
I first came across valueweb after being extremely dissatisfied with my previous host, namesarecheap.com. The technical support there was practically non-existent, although all the support representatives were very friendly...
Pros: No data loss, stable environment, pricing Cons: Random e-mail black outs, complicated account management for multiple accounts
I have used only 2 webhosting companies since I got into web development 5 years ago. I like to find one company that follows through and delivers consistent quality. My first hoster was Tabnet. I loved them. I never had any problems with upload,...
Pros: reasonable telephone access to tech support and billing
support for Frontpage Search Component Cons: limited bandwidth allowance
2nd rate email
weak tech support
hard line billing
First, I should state that I'm not a professional internet techie. However, I have operated a website, that I created with Frontpage, for four years, and have used three different web hosts. I signed up for Valueweb's $24.95 per month shared hosting, ...
Pros: They have telephones for customer support. Cons: Failure to help validate business legitimacy.
I recently visited a site currently hosted with HostSave (same as ValueWeb) and, because it looked legitimate, I gave personal information to place an order (nothing financial though at this point). Well, nothing has happened - no confirmation of the...
Pros: Lots of disk/transfer space, tons of extra service, good support Cons: None that I have found.
I have found Valueweb to be an excellent server. We have run our high traffic bookselling website, http://www.anybook.com on a number of servers over the years, I think valueweb is one of the best. We've been on valueweb over a year now and the uptime...
Pros: Initial setup was easy. Cons: Very very poor technical support and customer service.
I have been hosting with them for couple of months and everything was fine till I had a serious problem. Which was the first time I really called support. Anytime you call technical support, be prepared to be on hold for quite a while. If you have a...

ValueWeb is a fast growing Web Hosting company with many packages to choose from. If you're looking to sell products online, establish your corporate presence or just simply create a homepage, ValueWeb comes highly recommended by most users. With the...
Pros: None. Cons: They continued to charge my credit card after I cancelled my account.
After being referred to this company by Register.com, I signed up for a Trial Account. Within the trial month, I cancelled my account, and received a Cancellation Number. ValueWeb decided to ignore this cancellation and charged my credit card. As before,...
Pros: Good speeds, decent pricing Cons: Support. What's that?!
I must say they do have good speeds as advertised. Their pricing as nice as well. It stopped there. I used them as a host a quite some time ago and I have purposely erased much of my experiences with them from memory. I do however remember that their...
Pros: honest host, quite reliable Cons: *terrible* email service
Used to be a good host, even if they never really cared about email. During the last months the email server has become totally unreliable, and their support seem to be disappeared. The only suggestion I had from them was to use a different SMTP server...
Pros: Technical support, easy to set up and have many different value added products/services Cons: Their load time really sucks.
I have been with Valueweb for about a year now and they have been great. They really good customer support having online chat, phone, call you back, email, etc. The whole set up was easy. Once everything was set up things were running smoothly for a w ...
WATCH OUT! Deceptive Business Tactics by turbomax ,May 06 '05
Pros: Huh? Cons: Value? Lack of customer service, sneaky tactics.
ValueWeb (Affinity Internet) is of no value. Watch out for sneaky hidden clauses in their contracts. ACTUALLY READ the user agreement before signing up for any of their services. You might think that when you cancel a service you would stop getting billed for it - not the case. We were billed for 2 additional years for what we thought was a cancelled domain registration before I caught it still being charge on our company's books (small amount). Turns out they will continue to charge you for services without ever contacting you with any type of notice, until you cancel in writing. NO NOTICE. We never received an invoice, an email or anything. Then when I called and complained they basically told me it was policy and they would continue to enforce it. Service? We recommend Parcom.net for hosting & Enom.com for domain registrations ~ A+ service is our experience from both.
