I would go with Behringer instead by jasonajohnson Pros: It is inexpensive and portable.
Cons: It is less reliable than the Behringer alternative. The Alesis Multimix 6fx is a tiny mixer carried around in our bags for those random patching issues that us sound guys run into. Or perhaps for a inexpensive, on-location, stereo recording. The problem is that the one I had broke (I believe it was the power supply), and it is too cheap to begin with to be worth fixing. Also, you should not expect much in the way of sound quality. In fact, if sound quality is a concern, this type of mixer is entirely wrong to begin with. All of its circuitry adds noise to your signal, especially if you are using the effects, which I never bothered with. If you are looking for a tiny, hassel-free, patching mixer, Behringer has a similar model. It is still noisy, but it should be more reliable as Behringer specializes in cheap, noisy mixers.
