Greg and I went on a hunt for strollers and this is the one we chose. Even after the purchase of this stroller I continues to try other brands and I kept coming back to Evenflo.
What did we like about this stroller
The advantages to this stroller include the all-in-one feature so there was no need to buy a separate car seat or infant carrier. I love the fact that it turns so easily with one hand, and rolls smoothly. There is a lot of room and has enough space to put your diaper bag in the bottom basket, and store those bottles on the side pockets and pacifiers in the back pockets of the basket. The front shocks really give baby a smooth ride and each bending joint is covered safely by plastic so that little fingers will not get pinched. If you are walking through the mall just stick your drink, your cell phone and your keys in the tray on the handle. There are numerous colors and patterns to choose from as well. If the wind is blowing just pull out the top folding canopy and lift up the flap that has clear plastic under it so you can see baby. The brakes on this stroller are very accessible and they don’t take a lot of weight on them to lock them in place. Now the car seat came with a detachable base that you can leave in your car, you just lock the car seat into place on it. The best thing about the car seat and base is that you can buy a second base, one for each car or you can also use the car seat with out the base.
What did we dislike about this stroller
After about 5 months of use we began to notice that the wheel squeak badly, we tried 3in1 oil and we tried WD-40 to no avail they just kept squeaking. We contacted Evenflo and we were promptly shipped new wheels that have been in use for about 7 months with no squeak. The front bar of this stroller has a tray that attaches to it so your little one can have his/her cup and snack while they ride. Now this is a nice feature but the tray snaps on the front cross bar which is hollow underneath. Every time Wayne would lift his leg or foot he would get it jammed under the bar and get caught. We only had this problem up until he was 6 months old and we used foam padding up under it to keep him from getting his foot caught. This is a large stroller and is not easy to maneuver in and out of a small car so if you have a small car you may want to invest in an umbrella stroller that is light and easy to use.
Overall Experience
Wayne has used this stroller for over 1 year now and we have learned that it is very easy to clean and it has held up very well. The seat cushion comes out so that it can be washed and the padded rolls to keep your infant's head from wobbling easily come right out. We have tried numerous other strollers but we are pleased with out Evenflo and we think we will keep it.
