Disposable all the way

Apr 04 '00

I have two wonderful little girls. Both of whom I have used disposable diapers on. I thought about cloth diapers. But, then decided against them because they need to be cleaned all of the time. It is much easier to grab a diaper, put it on the baby, and throw the dirty one away. And, you don't have to worry about accidentally sticking the baby with a safety pin.
The only thing I have ever used cloth diapers for are burp rags. Yes, disposables are more expensive. But, they just seem more practical. Especially for a working mom. It's less laundry to do. Disposables are easier to deal with. Especially when you are going on an outing. That way you don't have to worry about taking a bag along to put the wet cloth diapers in and having to smell them all the way back home. With the disposable diapers you can change the baby anywhere and just throw the diaper away. It's that easy. I don't know how they lived without them in the old days, when all they had were cloth diapers. My choice is definitely disposable.
