Dear God.......... by susidee34 | Apr 09 '00 Dear God just help me make it through this day
I won't ask for more from you
It has been quite a while since my son left
What ever will I do
I miss him more each day, I miss his goofy smile
I'd like to have him near me now ...Return to opinion

I lost my dad a year ago today, and even in the depths of my grief I can not come close to imagining how it must feel to lose a child. My heart aches for you. Thank you for sharing. God Bless.

Your Tribute was so beautiful it just made me cry. I know how you feel. I use to wonder if my little boy missed his mommy as much as his mommy missed him. This is truly a heartfelt tribute. My heart aches for you for I too know what you are going through.May God Bless and Keep You!

I, too, am sorry for your loss. Cherish your memories of your son because nothing, not even death, can take them away from you. God bless you.

He heard..........he knows (Reply to this comment)
by SurgRN911
My dear friend.... I know Jason hears you, I know he remembers he was yours. Now, you must too remember you were his. His death is not your chore, it is your grief, your emptiness, your memories, and your love. People tell you, you must get on with it, well you have, you grieve, you moarn, you cry, and you move on to the next day. Scream to the Heavens if you must, and don't give a damn what anyone says.
Grief has NO expiration date that I know of. I only ask you to realize that you are a compassionate woman, and one of the greatest gifts you can give Jason, is to share that love. You have another generation nipping at your heels grannie. I can not even begin to know your pain, but I have seen glimpses of the woman you are. Continue to share yourelf, because as Jason was a part of you, you are a part of him, let that part shine like the sun(son).
Susi he is always with you, remember that smile and love. He is safe now, worrying and watching his mom. Listen as he speaks to you in the wind.
You remain in my prayers, and my heart.
