RE: Massachusetts' M & G INFO
Yes it is. I'll add that. It's on my profile page and Andy has it. Guess I've written it so much by now I should have the info down pat. I know it's soon to be your test case but we should have at least a dozen of us. Thanks for all your help, Garrett and Andy. jo |

Back from the MA M & G
Just got back from the MA M & G. 3 people I was hoping for didn't come but I got to meet Patti - AliventiAsylum, Amy - modernmarvel and two of her adorable kids, shopaholic_man - Mark and his son. I had met Sarah- cascogirl in NYC but not her very nice hubby or adorable little girl as well as Becky whom I had met in NYC and Dawn - dlstewart was there and it was wonderful meeting her for the first time as well. My husband once again had a great time and though he thinks we are all lunitics is liking epinions more and more as he meets all these great people.
Amy brought a friend as did Patti so we had a nice crew at the restaurant. We spent three hours talking and getting to know each other. There really is something to be said about smaller groups!
I'm going to upload my pics and send them to Andy.
I already reviewed Imperial China but I'm sure others will. We do plan on this being an annual event and with the help of epinions even more people coming.
All the dolls were scooped up! It's quite funny how much we all like those little guys. I now have 17. hmmm that's 4 complete sets plus one. That one must be lonely without his mates. Well he'll have to wait until another Meet and Greet.
It was wonderful meeting or seeing you again.
Sarah by the way came from Canada and Patti from New Hampshire. Both stayed in motels just to come to this event. Thanks! jo

RE: Back from the MA M & G
Thanks for posting the photos, Jo! This was a fun event. I'm so glad you organized it.
What a pleasure to meet everyone who came and to share relaxed conversation, getting to know more about my fellow Epinionaters. That three hours went so quick.
Take care,
Dawn

RE: Back from the MA M & G/pics
Wow, you are right Dawn, 3 hours went quick!
We spent more time driving to get to the event then we did visiting, lol
Framingham was a lovely town (lots of shopping!) and the meal was excellent!
I think the M&G went great, we had lots to talk about and a few of us had things in common we were not aware of.
Amys (mondernmarvel) kids behaved wonderfully and we made a graceful exit after Jenny (my toddler daughter) thought she would try to table dance like her Mommy does (NOT) and fell, then crying all the way out to the car.
Im thankful you organized the event Jo, and I was glad to meet people I enjoy reading and talking online with!
I have met Beckytcy and Jo before in NY, but on e M&G is never enough time to get to know each other.
Thanks again Jo, we had a great weekend!!!
~Sarah

What a great looking group of folks! Looks like Mr. Mark was the absolute ham of the group - notice how he's looking at the camera almost all of the time ;).

Yup, I had a great time too. It was nice to meet the people behind the names and add more faces to those I already know.
Missed Jeff - jps246, though :-( |

Great Time
It was fun!! It was nice to put faces to names and meet the people behind all those nice comments!! The kids behaved well because I drugged them. Okay, well not really, but I have contemplated it from time to time. The restaurant was a good choice - the food was yummy and my son loved the big, blue, plastic flower in his drink. Thanks Jo for putting it all together and posting the pictures and sending those paypal checks so quickly. You are truly the hostess with the mostess. |

RE: Back from the MA M & G/pics
I do think in the future we should have some cocktail time first and after making it at least a hour even. I know some people had to leave - long drives - but next time and for future M & Greets figure 4 hours. Just my opinion. jo |

sorry I missed it....
I held out hope that my wife and I would be able to make this but, alas, my son's last minute high school Latin project required assistance from us both. (Yes, people still study Latin.)
Sorry I missed it Jo. Thanks for sharing the pics.
