BrainFox is a SCAM!

I sent them $10 and set my bids at a simple .01 a click. Currently burning at a rate of about a click every 20 secs. I'm advertising with Yahoo! and Google and have never experience the traffic I'm supposedly getting here. Check my stats, all coming from the same place. Complete, and absolute SCAM. Glad I just sent them $10 and not more! I went to request a refund and got the message:
How can I request a refund?

brainfox.com does not issue refunds under any circumstances, as stated in our terms and conditions.

Thanks!

Keith

About these boards

This is a member message board at epinions.com and we don't have any resources to help you to deal with the site in question. We are a review community where we review products and services for consumers to read and use to help them decide whether they want to buy the product or use the service. Please remove the email text and rephrase what they said to you as we cannot post emails from other parties on this forum.

I don't see this website/service in the database to review but you request it be added by contacting the Online Servies Leads and then writing a review of your experience with BrainFox.

That is the best thing anyone can do for other consumers. As far as getting a refund, it looks like you agreed to their terms of service and should be very happy that you didn't give them more than $10.00.

Perhaps someone has had experience with this service and will come along and write a post about it but I strongly urge you to ask for the site to be added and to tell consumers of your experience. You could help a lot of others to avoid potential problems.

Patty

Brainfox = Horrible

I had the exact same problem. Suddenly my website saw about 3,000 extra hits a day, but sales didn't change at all, and We average a sale every 100-150 page views. I ran through about $100 just giving them a try and carefully monitored ROI and also compared the stats to sales rates without using brainfox. Surprise surprise, no change at all. So i took it one step further and turned off every PPC engine we use, about 10 in all, and let brainfox run a day by itself. No sales. Real shocker huh? I don't know what kind of junk hits their sending but DONT WAYSTE YOUR MONEY. Brainfox is an utter disappointment if not an outright scam.
