Let's begin with why I bought United Offensive. A bit of a no-brainer really, Call of Duty is/was the best FPS game ever. How could you not purchase the expansion pack? Also, I'm a bit of a WWII nut. 'Nuff said. The single player missions in this game ...

Pros: Great Graphics new features including tanks, and enhanced multi-player

I have for years moved through the ranks of different FPS games. I have never been draw to games where you blow up aliens etc. But I love playing against others on line. First it was Delta Force, then Medal Of Honor and finally Call Of Duty. That game ...

Pros: Improved graphics and sound and more weapons.
Cons: Single player missions respawn the opposing team. Not exactly realistic.

Call of duty: United Offensive adds more missions with support from Tanks/Planes and Jeeps and such.

There's more weapons for every team that you select but the game really shines in Multiplayer mode.

Capture the Flag is added along with Base, and Domination.

CTF is really fun and difficult. You are now fighting against tanks and Jeeps.

Graphics have been improved by adding particle effects and boy does it make a difference.

Audio has been improved as well.

If you enjoyed COD.....you won't want to pass up the add-on.
