About the Web Sites: Actionbent.com, and the e-bay online store, are both decent sites that seem to be actively maintained. There is no flash-animation frippery; information loads quickly and the site controls work as expected with no bugs that I have ...

I ordered their "high racer" model. At the prices these cycles were offered, I really was not expecting a bike with a great fit/finish. I was completely, and quite pleasantly surprised. Not wanting to wait for a few weeks (who does?) I selected a model ...

They reduced the shipping cost without even asking!
by divindale ,Mar 26 '09
I purchased some small parts for my bike from ActionBent because the low price was the best deal despite the high default shipping cost. I received an email a couple of days later letting me know they reduced the shipping cost since it could be shipped by mail. The parts arrived two days later. More companies could benefit from this kind of great customer service.

Poor design with under size mounting hardware & Idler pulley mounting stem soft metals
by brew10 ,Dec 15 '06
I got really fast delivery from ActionBent, but after riding the recumbent for the past year I am regretful that I bought this brand. The Idler pulley was all wrong. I had to add two additional for a total of three to get the correct flow. It only comes with one which leaves the chain dragging across the under-seat bars. The original Idler pulley mounting stem is tapped for a (small) 6-mm stud, about 1 inch long. The stud has broken three times which leaves me stranded. It is an easy repair, if you can extract the broken stud. But now the tapped hole has stretched (elongated) because the selection of soft metal.

Excellent customer service
by n4iyterry ,Mar 27 '07
I bought a recumbent bike from a different vendor. I had an accident and bent the front wheel. I called the vendor and asked if I could purchase a replacement wheel, they promised to call me back and after two weeks still have not.
I called Actionbent and they gave me very friendly and prompt service, replacing my front wheel for only $25! I admitted to them that I had not purchased my recumbent from them and still they gave me this very good deal and friendly service.
I intend all my recumbent purchases in the future to be through Actionbent, they earned it.

they are non respondent to requests for information.

The new seats are much more laid back than the old seats on the Jet Stream. I had to make a new bracket to hold it in the right place. then I had to raise the crank by adding 2.5 inches to the head tube, to get the pedals off the front wheel.
The photos on their web site did not show the new seat on the bike.

Purchhased Used Trike / Customer Service
by pat_caudill ,Jun 17 '09
I purchased a used Actionbent Trike. Before I purchased it I called Actionbent and they were great. They gave me the rundown on the trike and it's components. I knew immediatly that I would go ahead with the pruchase. After I got it, it was obvious that the previous owner did not put to together correctly. I took it to my local bike shop and they got me taken care of in no time. My 1st ride was over 20 miles and I want to ride every chance I get now. The bike rides great, super smoth and easy to operate. I get compliments on it where ever I go and I usually get there before most of the folks in my group. I'd buy it again and recommend this trike to anyone looking at them. I have riden a few other tadpole style trikes but this is the best yet... If you are looking I recommend that you at least consider them, I know that they are not "Catrike" or "GreenSpeed" but they are a good bike and the absolute best buy for he money.
Ride On!
