I ordered a new LCD TV and wall mount. They did the typical phone-confirmation that's really an attempt to sell you other stuff, but that's standard from most web-retailers. Everything arrived on time and in good condition.

Long story short, the wall mount wouldn't work for me. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to figure that out before the 14-day window for returns expired. After 14 days - no returns at all. In my opinion that's way too short a return window, especially since they consider delivery day as day one. Most retailers allow up to 30 days for returns/exchanges.

(Update: I sent an email regarding my complaints about their return policy over a week ago and have not gotten any replies. I didn't really expect any resolution, but some kind of response might have been appropriate. Oh well, lesson learned.)

I saw this on XPbargains.com. I was looking fir a digital camera. This store had the Nikon 3700 for $274. There was also a $100 mail in rebate. I called and 10 minutes later the deal was done. There was some pressure to buy the memory and batteries from them, but when I declined the salesperson did not press on.

The best part is: The camera was with me 2 days later even though I had declined FEDEX 2 day. Great transaction, great service. Yeah! I could have bought it for $10 cheaper from another store, but I'm glad I did not... I'll be buying more and more from them. Highly recommended

I had a very good experience ordering from Butterfly Photo. They called the day after my Sony TRV 38 was ordered to confirm. I did not experience the up-sell issues that some other reviewers seem to have had. They simply asked if I needed tapes and I said "no." That was it. The camera made it to my home in three days. The price was great and it was delivered promptly. That's all I wanted and that's exactly what I received.

I ordered an Olympus C-5000 zoom digital camera from Butterfly and had a great experience. It was one of the lowest prices I could find on the web, the lower prices were from outfits that had 2 or fewer stars. I received the obligatory email stating I needed to call to verify my credit card. They tried to sell me peripherals, at inflated prices, and I declined (a few times). The camera was shipped and I received it two days later. While the hard sell for peripherals is a pain, it is worth it if it means you can by the camera cheaper than elsewhere. If you are willing to put up with that aspect, I highly recommend butterfly.

No hassle ordering. No phoney "verification of order" calls. Delivered faster than promised and they did not even charge me extra! Good honest company. Ordering was a little bumpy though, took them three attempts, but hey, no biggy.

Last week I ordered Sony DCR-TRV33 and I got the camcorder (new factory sealed) within week.

Initially they tried to push some of the accessories, but i denied. Still they sent me the camcorder within the promised time.

Had a great experience. Ordered the new Sony DCR-DVD300 camcorder. Next day I Got a phone call from butterfly photo to confirm.
Talked to a guy by the name of Kevin who was very nice. He offered some additional accessories but was very pleasant and courteous. Order shipped the same day. Was able to track it easily. Camera came even faster than expected, packaged well, everything included. I am Very satisfied.

I have ordered a Canon-ProS1IS digital camera, which delivered promptly,good customer service and camera got with all the accessories mentioned in the site.

I browsed almost 10 days and found the same camera at a lower rate in some other stores. I tried to reach their customer rep and it looked like some shops have only numbers but nobody to answer your call. Others asked me to wait for 2-3 weeks although the site showed that the item is in stock.

I found the customer service is excellent here, rep confirmed my order suggested some of the accessories, that's all..the third day i got my camera....now exploring a new world digitally !!!!!

I would highly recommend Butterfly Photo to anyone!!! I bought a Canon A80 digital camera for $298 with no shipping! That is almost a hundred dollars cheaper than Ritz Camera. I did get an e-mail saying to call them to verify, which of course was to tell me about a sale on accessories for the camera that I just purchased. When I said no thanks, and then started to say why, he said, that's okay, no need to explain. They were not pushy at ALL and were very polite. I dealt with Peter and he was fantastic. The shipping was great too. I loved tracking it from New York to my front porch. I would definitely use Butterfly Photo again. Don't be deterred by the negative reviews. This place is awesome. :)
