I diidn't like the fact that they called me to re-confirm the order, since I ordered from a secure internet order system, but it was their chance to try to sell extra's. I had read other reviews about them doing this but I was prepared and had done my homework as to what I wanted and needed. Adam was the sales rep and I will compliment him as to when I said I didn't need anything else, he said thank you and your order is on it's way to you. I had expected an argument. I had previously attempted to order form Digital Expo, and they are slime and they is another review or story for someone. Butterfly sold me what I wanted, it arrived well packaged, I could track it, and there were no hidden costs. Congrats to them.

It was awkward to receive a call from the merchant after we made on the online purchase. They attempted to sell us additional products/services to accompany our purchase. It had a feeling of telemarketing (actually it was), and I felt compelled to listen since we had just purchased from them. Some might find this useful, I thought it was an annoyance.

They had the best price for the camcorder ***when I factored in shipping and taxes****. I was surprised at how much shipping charges varied between vendors!
Following the advice of a fellow epinion consumer, I bought just the camcorder from Butterfly Photo and planned to buy the accessories from a BestBuy or local equivalent. However, Butterfly rep called me and offered me accessories below the listed prices on the web site with no additional shipping charges.

the only thing i was unhappy about, was being mildly presure sold when i called to confirm my order. i was told he "thought i was making a mistake " by not purchasing something. he did suggest one additional thing that i decided i would need and i purchased it, and the more i think about it, i am glad i went ahead and got it.

buying the product was no problem, the salesperson encouraged me to buy other extra items. i needed the camara for an event, so i paid extra for expedited service and till this day which is 4 days late, i still haven't received my camara. i sent an e-mail to the company and not a reply yet, i'm still waiting for a reply and my camara.
