Searched the Web for the best price on a HP 7960 printer. Ebuyer had the best price, $253.89 with $8.85 shipping, total $262.74. Usually buy at Newegg. I gave Ebuyer a shot. Ordered on 4/21/04, received order confirmation the same day. Received confirmation that printer had shipped the next day, 04/22/04 with shipping tracking. Received the printer the next day, 04/23/04, and this was standard ground shipping, FedEx ground. Printer was packaged in manufacturers standard box. Hats off to Ebuyer. Printer is excellant. It's a real pleasure to do business with a firm like this. I give Ebuyer a 10 in all areas, price, ordering, communication and speed in shipping.

WARNING!!! Many items are sold "as is", even new ones. You cannot return them, even if unopened. I am very disappointed in Ebuyer they need to be more clear about their policies warn consumers. They are a dis-service to the internet, as from now on I am more inclined to buy from local stores, where I know I can return products.

We recv'd our order much faster than we expected, but I wouldn't expect warm-fuzzies.

We wrote in asking about one of their warranty packages and recv'd no response.

Also, just FYI, the price on Epinions was a little less than what was showing at their site. When I inquired about it, they said that the price at the site was the correct one, but then they changed it the next day. ?? Well, the change was in the consumers' favor, so that was all right!

The minute I received my order confirmation, I saw I had ordered the wrong item. Immediately I attempted to cancel the order. You can phone them after you have received your order and not before. You can use their E Notes to contact them, but you have to log in before you can do that. At this point, they had sent 2 order confirmations to my email address, and yet it was not recognized by them as a correct log in! After trying to log on for over 24-hours, I finally got through. I explained what had happened, and their reply was that after I placed the order, I had 1 to 2 hours to cancel. I explained again that I couldn't get through but they didn't care.
Do yourself a favor. Save yourself the frustration. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!

One of the best! Almost as good as newegg, but NO SALES TAX! Californian's should shop here! Quick delivery since they're close, but no sales tax since they're not located in California like everyone else!!

I've purchased over $1000 in merchandise from eBuyer within the last 2-3 months & so far I couldn't be happier with everything from selection to service & some of the best prices!

They're a Godsend since most other great online stores located in California must charge Sales Tax & East cost stores can take 5 days or longer for delivery because they're 4000 miles away.

Quick, fast & easy! No problems what so ever. I was skeptical at first reading some of the bad reviews, but it was a great price so I had to try. I ordered a Sony Clie on Tuesday and it arrived Thursday by UPS. The site provided a step by step ladder of where your order is at any given time. After it was marked shipped they provided a tracking number so I could monitor the status. I would definitely shop here again and would recommend it to anyone who asks!

I placed an order with Ebuyer.com and was later informed by automated email that my credit card charge was not approved, no specific explanation given. My credit card account is active and in good standing. I went to "my account" on the Ebuyer.com website and substituted info on another credit card. Ebuyer.com's site proclaimed that the charge would be approved or not within the hour. I also left an "e-note", Ebuyer's preferred communication tool, asking why my first card had been declined, and when my order would ship. 18 hours later, my second card had not yet been cleared--still in progress. Same with the e-note--not yet read by Ebuyer.com staff. Fed up, I canceled my order. If I can't communicate effectively with Ebuyer.com regarding complications while ordering, what kind of luck would I have afterward, if the product was not delivered or it was faulty? Life is too short for this!

I ordered a Canon MP780 Printer from them. My address information with my credit card company is correct, and always has been.

They emailed me a week later informing me that my item did not ship because they could not verify the address I provided for my credit card, and wanted the 800# on the back of the card.

I called my bank's customer service to ensure that I was providing the correct address to the merchant. It was correct down to punctualization and capitalization, as I read it to them. I have also used almost 20 other websites to order products from with no glitches.

I gave them the 800# and then they emailed me again saying that they needed the customer service number, (which was NOT the 800# on the back of the card)

By the time I got it all sorted out my bank was closed for the day, and they instructed me to try again tomorrow. After this, I decided to go through a different store.

I'll pay a dollar extra to avoid this kind of stress. Avoid at all costs.

Awful. Do Not Do Business With This Group. First, we never received confirmation of our order via e-mail (we should have known then). The only way to get an update was to go to the EBuyer web-site (takes time). I went to the site a week later and learned that our order was to be received a few days later. After it didn't arrive, I went back to the web-site and learned that the order had been canceled; although our credit card was charged. THERE IS NO TELEPHONE TO CALL. You are at their mercy. They never sent us an e-mail.

We've placed plenty of internet orders ... and have never experience anything so irresponsible.

Until a few months ago, I've used Ebuyer.com (US)for the last 4 years and have never had a problem with them. Normally the items will shipped sooner than advertised and they have great selection of inventory.

I have ordered a camera case from Ebuyer.com which was due to arrive in a week. When the item I'd bought didn't arrive, I tried to check the status of my order. Although I have an e-mail from Ebuyer with the details of my order, there appears to be no sign of it whatsoever, i.e. it is as if my order does not exist. I am still waiting for an answer for an e-note I have sent to them (it's been 3 days already) and until this one is closed (if ever)there is no other way of contacting them since their expensive phone line is always busy.After reading so many complaints about them on online forums and review sites, I am surprised this company is still allowed to trade. Definitely to be avoided!

Thursday evening I tracked status of shipment and they stated that package would arrive Monday! Four days later is not priority overnight no matter how they spell it.

This is the first time that I bought a TV online and it was a PERFECT experience. The ebuyer website was easy to use and they sent me numerous emails updating me on the status of my shipment. Also, my TV arrived 5 DAYS EARLIER than they promised.
I had a question about a feature of my flat screen Sammy so I called the 800 number and their customer support was extremely helpful and polite.

BAD BAD BAD Refund response. Denied my refund request for a product that would not perform because it was 1 day past 30 from the ship date even though I did not receive it for several days after the ship date. Talked nice on the phone but kept delaying a response until the CE "NO" got around to it. The supervisor was probably a BOBBLEhead like on the commercial.

I would never buy another product from them and will tell everyone I know that buys on line to avoid them.

Best price and extremely fast delivery. I bought a Cannon Imageclass 320 copier on Friday, January 23 the approximate delivery date was the first week of February (I went for the cheapest delivery method) and received it on Tuesday January 27 in a snowstorm. I will definitely use Ebuyer again. As far as the copier, it was easy to set up and very light weight. It has been easy to use as well. I placed an order for my Zen Micro at 5:00 Monday afternoon. I paid the $5.00 difference for 2 day shipping. By 3:00 on Wednesday I had my Zen. It was well boxed and came in the original shrink-wrapped packaging (definitely brand new).

I've read several negative feedback comments regarding shipping, customer service, etc. However, my experience has been nothing but pleasant so far. I haven't had reason to use their customer service department yet, so I can't comment on that.

I would suggest that you write down your order confirmation number and print it out as well because the promised order confirmation e-mail never came (although since you've already registered your order information is stored in their system so this is really not a problem).

Ebuyer definitely had, and still has, the lowest overall price around. Just check out their site directly, the prices are actually lower than what you'll see on Shopping.com.

I would DEFINITELY buy from them again.

Have used this company for years and apart from the odd glitch always found their service acceptable. As of now I wouldn't recommend this company if it was the last company trading. Accepted my order, took payment, emailed me to say it was shipped. Emailed me a couple of hours later to say, whoops we couldn't fill your order, so we've canceled that order and created a new order for you, but you can cancel if you want?
After waiting 5 days for the items to be shipped this isn't what I expected from ebuyer, but sadly it now seems to be their norm from what I can see from other posts here and elsewhere?

Where did it all go wrong ebuyer, you used to be reliable?
I've now got to try and get the bits I ordered locally as they are needed for a job i'm doing.
Until Ebuyers sorts itself out, avoid like the plague.

Poor show all round from a company that should lead the way!

Third experience buying here, and have had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS. Their prices are consistently the LOWEST ON THE INTERNET. Sure the website's a bit tedious, they don't have a wide range of products in each category, and product information is usually a sentence or two copied from the manufacturer...BUT: they ship lightning fast, shipping charges are rock bottom, and their prices are the LOWEST ON THE INTERNET. What more could you want?
I have bought a CF memory card, a 19-inch CRT monitor, and now an mp3 player from eBuyer, and each transaction has been flawless. Best to use a credit card that bills to your shipping (home) address, and be careful ordering when they only have one or two of an item left in stock. Also, track their price on an item for a few weeks...if they have plenty of an item, prices do tend to drop. Watch for rebates and/or free shipping on some items.
My experiences with this e-tailer have been excellent and I recommend them without reservation if they have what you want, and you want to pay the lowest price and very reasonable (or free) shipping.

I had the same problem as someone else below. I placed my order, and never received a tracking #. I checked my credit card statement online, and they charged my credit card the day I ordered. I called a full week later and nothing had shipped yet but they fully charged me:

"We do not charge your account until the item is shipped."

Well ... I guess that's a blatant outright lie.

Buyer protect yourself at all times. These bozo's advertised $6.09 shipping costs when in fact it was $12.39. Customer Service response was that "...you selected UPS Ground" and that is why the extra cost. When I responded with Ground as opposed to what, I did not receive a response. I'm not sure what was a $6.09 shipping method as no other cheaper method was an available selection. Also, it took them two days to ship the product. This is after they told me it would take 10 business days to get my product. Anywhere in the US is no more than 6 business days via Ground. I'm told I'll have a 20% restocking fee if I return it. They screw up and I get to pay for it. What a great deal. Snotty Customer Service on top of all that. I'm going back to ebay.

Be careful if your shipping and billing addresses differ

I ordered a product. Like many people, my billing address and shipping address are different. My credit card is billed to our Post Office box, but Ebuyer only ships via UPS, and UPS doesn’t deliver to a Post Office box. Anyway, their website says that if you are shipping to any address other than your billing address, you have to contact them and advise.

I sent them the requested email and gave whatever information they wanted. I got my product very quickly, and there really wasn’t any problem. My only concern is having to take extra time to send emails because of shipping and billing address differences. On their website, it says they will only ship to your billing address, unless the shipping address is registered with the credit card company as a secondary address. It all seems confusing and stupid. I’ve purchased many things online, but never have I had a company what that type of policy.

I ordered a Pioneer home theater system from this Ebuyer. Good price and no sales tax. The receiver was defective right out of the box. I find out after the fact that Ebuyer has no return policy on home theater systems and I'm stuck with it even though it's brand new and it's defective. I was told that I have to deal with the manufacturer for returns and of course, I can't return it, I have to get it repaired. It makes no sense to get a brand new item and have to get it repaired already. I would have been better off paying a little more and going to Best Buy.

But what the really great feature is....They ship from all different warehouses in the U.S. I live in Chicago and they are in AZ I got my package the next day with ground shipping. I don't think you would receive your package unless it was back ordered in less then 2 or 3 days with ground shipping. On top of the shipping I had a billing ship-to address problem and the customer service cleared it up for me in a few minutes. Plus they have good prices.

The absolute worst online buying transaction for me. EBuyer claims to have products in stock, but took 4 days to dispatch my order from their shipping source. Poor return policy--20% restocking fee on returned items. And additionally fees for returned memory products. My order shipped through FedEx. It has been almost 2 weeks. FedEx can't seem to locate my package and Ebuyer is of no assistance. Poor communications problem with Ebuyer. You can use your Member Name to log in, but not to send an Enote regarding customer relations issues. No email address to contact them.

Bad experience got worse. I placed an order and THOUGHT that everything was going well. WRONG!!! Two week later, when the order didn't arrive by the specified date I inquired by calling them... NO ONE ANSWERED AFTER 5 MINUTES OF RINGING (no please hold or any of that). So then I sent an "enote", the only other way to communicate with this company. THEY LOST THE ORDER. So I decided to give them another chance. WRONG. It's two days later now and after multiple enotes trying to get the order processed, I suddenly get an email that they have CANCELLED the order.

I purchased two cameras (D-link) at ebuyer. One of them was a 2nd day delivery and I paid extra for it but it arrived after 3 days. I hooked up the cameras and after a few days one of them stopped working. The manufacturer stated that it was defective. I had to ship it back to D-link and get a replacement after a couple of weeks.

Would not use again. E-notes system is useless and if you need to cancel an order (prior to shipping) they will not respond. No response to phone calls, either. Once canceled order was sent anyway. After canceled order was returned. I tried to use e-notes to let them know I was returning item to no avail. They kept writing emails saying they received the order but there was no return indicated in the enotes. After all of that they sent the order to me a second time....

I'm almost ready to report them to the Attorney General's office in their state of operation.

eBuyer does not stand behind its products. I bought a bluetooth adapter from them, which purported to work with Mac if you followed the link to the manufacturer's website. When I got it, and found it DID NOT work with Mac, they refused to refund my full purchase price. They demanded a 20% restocking fee, plus no return on shipping costs. I have appealed through my credit card, but I warn you. They weren't even pleasant about it.

They had the second lowest price with shipping on a small song mic I needed. I give a thumbs-up to Ebuyer .com. I purchased a Syntax LCD television and Ebuyer had the lowest price (and I searched everywhere, including Ebay). Delivery was real fast and yet I paid very little for shipping. The product is fantastic but I did have a problem with the manufacturers rebate. This is where I thought I would pay for not shopping locally but I was wrong. The rebate problem is too long of a story to tell so I'll just say I needed Ebuyer's help. I thought I would receive a sales-pitch as to why this was not their problem and instead I had a management member working with me. I was given his direct line (and I used it often). He stuck with me until the problem was resolved. Needless to say, I would buy again from Ebuyer and I strongly recommend them.

I ordered a Garmin GPS Unit on a Sunday. Had to call them on Tuesday to check up on the status of the order b/c their website still had it listed as "Security Check" which means "Your order is queued in our system and is waiting to be processed by our Order Management Team"... basically no one had gotten to my order after two business days. After calling, the status of the order moved to "Goods Allocated" which means "Some or all of your items have now been sourced from one or more of our available dispatch points. If all items have been allocated then a Confirmed Ship Date should follow shortly."... sounds good right? So then the status changes to "Payment Taken" which is obvious what this means, my credit card was charged. I now go into the site and the status is "Cancelled", and I get an email stating:

"Unfortunately the above product(s) is/are currently out of stock. Your card has been refunded and the item(s) removed from your order.
Regards
Ebuyer"

Well... thanks for the regards Ebuyer... It's funny how when I ordered the product 33 of them were in stock.

I don't know about those with good experiences but my experience has been unacceptable. Despite the fact that the web site said the unit was in stock, it took 5 days for the order to change to shipping.

I emailed them twice about problems and both times received a notice that they would respond in 4 hours. What a joke! They finally responded to the first one after I complained and didn't tell me any more than I already knew. They still haven't replied to the second one.

I don't intend to use this company again. Their pricing is decent but their customer service is below poor.

Buyer beware! Look to their return policy before purchasing anything from these folks. On some items there is a twenty percent restocking fee. On many items there simply isn't one! Or more aptly put...on many items they are not interested in dealing with any returns. You will have to look to the manufacturer. I purchased a Palm handheld from these folks. I was not satisfied with the unit and wanted to return it. Guess what? Palm is on that list of...sorry you'll have to talk to the manufacturer. Again read their return policy before purchasing. You may find yourself paying a premium should you desire to return something and find yourself unable to. Buyer beware!

Bought a $320 MP3 player, but they shipped me an EMPTY shipping box. TOTALLY EMPTY!

They wouldn't answer my emails (they call them eNotes) and after numerous phone conversations with an incredibly rude woman, she refused to ship me my merchandise AND refused to refund my money!

I disputed the charge with my credit card company, but eBuyer (via Paypal) re-charged my card!

After months of headaches, I'm giving up.

EBuyer is running a scam: they send empty boxes, and victims can't prove the packages are empty.

I bought an iPod on 3 December 2005.

I gave it to my wife for Christmas, but was unable to set it up until 21 January 2006.

It has never worked.

I sent an "enote" to Ebuyer.com requesting an RMA. They closed the enote saying my product was not eligible to be returned.

I tried sending it to Apple for repair, twice.

Apple has refused to repair it because they say Ebuyer is not an authorized Apple reseller and that Ebuyer bought the iPod in July 2005.

It appears Ebuyer sold me a $236.45 iPod that has never worked and can not be repaired.

"When I received a Monitor from them that was advertised as "New", it arrived in an open box missing some of the parts. I contacted them about obtaining the missing parts, and their first response was (quoting): "Yes you should Babel to git it from vewsonic just let them know what happened." It's not that they are illiterate, its that they shipped me an incomplete order then tried to pawn it off on ViewSonic. I called their 800 number to complain and they reassured me that it would be taken care of immediately. Over a month later, I received this response: "I am sorry but View sonic is not an item the Ebuyer can accept for returns. Please contact View sonic directly." The order is still incomplete and they are betting I won't do anything about it. I will never order anything from this company again. I would recommend that you find another company to do business with. "

Once again a person who was shopping for the price and trusting a company to deliver. I simply purchased a computer bag and simply paid to have it mailer via Fed Ex. But oh not so simple. I track the package for 5 days and then find out it's lost. So I call Ebuyer to report the package never made it to it destination. Submitted card details and there was probably an error on the number which caused a payment authorisation to be denied. Tried to use the "Change payment" option to re-submit but I was continually looped back to the "View Order" page instead of re-newing the details. I continued to try through the next day and logged an E-Note to sales / order tracking to no avail.
Gave up and ordered elsewhere without problem and for less than 1.00UKP more.

Put together an order worth $65 of computer accessories weighing 3 pounds. When i got to check out, they tried to charge $35 to ship via one-week ground delivery. I thought it was a bait-&-switch, but luckily called them. The customer service person was very nice, and said that their freight calculator gets buggy when you order lots of items and they then could come from all sorts of different warehouses (i had 5 small items). We did the order while she was on the phone with me and she manually changed it while i was still on the phone so my shipping was just $10.

Also, the site was very slow, but this was in part b/c they had just sent out an ad to 5 million customers. The prices were definitely lower than their competitors, and apparently they make a ridiculously thin profit margin. I'd believe it too.

same sort of problem. I ordered a plantronics headset and a lifter for the phone receiver. I received the headset and not the lifter. they want me to ship them the headset back then they will ship me the headset and the lifter. I figure after i ordered this headset it will be a month before i receive what i ordered. I asked them why dont you just send me the lifter and we will all be happy. they they said i could pay for another lifter then ship back the headset and they would credit my account when they received it. i said no you already screwed up my simple order i have no reason to trust you with multiple credits to my card.. All they had to do was ship me the lifter but they would not. I was planning on buying 9 of these for a total cost of 1989.00 but now i will pay more to get them from a company with integrity and a real customer service department.

I bought a Samsung SyncMaster 910T. It arrived within 2 days of placing the order with my choice of free ground shipping, so response was excellent.

Ebuyer's price was the best, shipping was free, and they did not charge me state taxes. However, their return policy for LCDs sucks (NO returns, you must deal with the manufacturer). If the monitor was DOA, they might deal with it, but my problem is that I thought this would be a great monitor but it is only OK and I'm not happy with my purchase--not Ebuyer's fault, but I'm stuck.

My recommendation is to make darn sure you want the item that you order from Ebuyer, because, even if they allow a return, they want a 20% restocking fee. This is pretty common among web vendors, but it is still a lousy return policy.

My 1st complaint buying on the web.
1st: You can't order by phone.

2nd: I ordered 1 hr later (same date) something different from newegg.com
While eBuyer was still fiddling around with verifying the ship-to address; newegg already had the product shipped and delivered to my front door.

3rd: Customer service is just horrible. If u have a problem you can wait forever to get it solved.

4th: Just because the product is shown on their web site does not mean they have it in stock. You won't find out that the product is out of stock until you've ordered the product. That means you've wasted your time signing up and ordering.

5th: Took me over an hour to sign up because their web site is soooo slow. 2 to 5 minutes waiting until eBuyer.com responds to a click. [And I'm on fast cable too.]

Just a bad experience not worth the few dollars saved. Save your aggravation.

I will not purchase from Ebuyer again. Shipping was HORRIBLE, FedEx couldn't get my address correct (never mind the fact that I have lived there for 5 years). After MANY calls, false info, Ebuyer customer service hanging up on me twice & runarounds Fed Ex admitted the package was lost. E buyer refused to ship another product until an investigation can be made (excuse me I'm not the one who lost the package). They still have not credited my credit card the money.

I used the Froogle.com search engine to look for a specific computer case and video card. The best prices (including shipping) was from ebuyer. I felt a little uneasy ordering from ebuyer since I have never heard about them, but I went though with the order anyways. I recieved my video card 3 days after placing my order and I recieved my case 5 days after placing my order. Everything came in perfect condition and in a timely manner. I also did not have to pay tax since I live in California. I definitely recommend this site, but according to a lot of people, returning defective or unwanted products can be a hassel. Nevertheless, good service.

I have negative experience with Ebuyer.com.

Watch out for their return policy which will hit you with 20% restocking fee even if you never rip the shrink wrap off the package you get. Recently I ordered an Acer laptop but changed my mind two days after placing order (haven't even received the parcel). No dice to return the lappie -- 20% restocking fee made me stuck with Ebuyer's product. Extremelly dissapointed.

Never again I buy from them. Should have bought from NewEgg or Amazon...

Did not get any response for a whole week regarding shipping of my order, then on Friday of following week received email that they are over sold and my order was canceled. Total waste of time, I don't think they have any item in stock, but will list it as in stock, so you will place your order.

Returning a broken item is a incredible hassle. I have never had to go through through such steps and communication ever before. They will make every attempt not to honor their guarantees. If you buy something. Keep every paper, every tag, all the packaging, every twist tie, and pray that it works consistently.

I will not purchase again solely due to their return policy.

The worst I have ever had online

On 5/15/04 I placed an order for a SD card. My Visa was charged and on their website it showed the order as "invoiced" with a USPS tracking number and a ship date of 12/31/1969. The USPS website stated that they were told to expect a package to ship but was never received. After 6 days and three e-mails (they keep saying it was shipped, still no indication on their site that it ever was) I was e-mailed a claim form to print out, sign and send snail-mail to their claims dept for investigation.

I have done a great deal of business on the net and have NEVER seen anything like this.

In my opinion this could be a sign of financial problems (possibly can't pay their suppliers?). I absolutely can NOT recommend using Ebuyer.

This was my experience Ebuyer.com I hope it helps.

I ordered these two gamecube games from their company and they send me these 2nd grade computer software. How the hell can you screw up on the order? I don't know. I tried calling customer service and they wanted me to go through this tedious process of returning them back to UPS.

I don't drive and there's no UPS in my area. So now, I'm screwed with these two jumpstart software for 2nd graders. Do not shop at this site unless you want to go through the hassle of returning items and calling them.

EBUYER... Appalingly bad company (UK)

VERY bad customer care verging on total indifference.

Incorrect orders, cancelled orders ignored and money still taken. Purchase policies that contradict what the sales people say, and sales staff that contradict what your account info says.

Awkward cumbersome process to recover your money (Like getting blood out of a stone)

DONT BELIEVE the good reviews on this site.. Look how many of them have "strangely perfect" 100% ratings in each of the categories. I understand that they have employees writing good review to try and water down all the bad ones!!!

Horrifically incompetent.

IMO, they need to shut down and completely retool their store, if not their entire system. They sent me the incorrect item, which I had to then return, and I never was able to get the product at all. They did refund my money, and were reasonably courteous, but that's where the (semi) positives end.

I received several emails that were totally out of left field, including one including this gem: "Our website was incorrectly put on our website. We can only issue a refund at this time."

If that means they made a mistake by ever launching a website, I wholeheartedly concur.

I purchased a PSP from eBuyer for a Christmas present but it was defective out of the box. It has multiple pixels that constantly remain illuminated white--it's like playing games and watching movies in a snow storm! When I tried to return it, ebuyer told me it was classified as an "all sales final" purchase and they would not exchange it nor refund it. They claimed Sony would repair it under warranty but Sony says that pixels remaining illuminated is a "normal" issue with LCD screens and it is not covered under the warranty. eBuyer won't take it back; Sony won't fix it! So unless you want to get stuck with a broken device with no hope for exchange, repair or refund, avoid eBuyer like the plague!

The Canon Scanner I purchased from Ebuyer arrived poorly packaged- flimsy box, no styrofoam or packing material. The brand new scanner, not suprisingly, was broken upon arrival. Ebuyer said that they would not replace it; I had to contact Canon; even though they are at fault,not Canon. They got the money, Canon has to replace it. What a crooked company. Purchased a Sony bluetooth headset DR-BT1 on 9-7-05. Ebuyer delivered within 7 days. Product arrived broken (mic broken off from earpiece) and unuseable. READ THE FINE PRINT from ebuyer on returns. SONY and most electronics manufacturers is an all sales final deal regardless of defective products or DOA conditions.

Ebuyer gave me a SONY number to call which turned out to be a roofing company in California!! I tracked down 4 other SONY numbers myself and no one knows who supports this product.

Ebuyer is NOT someone you want to do business with. Buy from Amazon, and be assured if you have a problem your vendor will take care of it.

Purchased this item online, received it in only a couple days, actually 1 day faster than their estimate. Computer case was perfect, except the power supply was DOA. This was not Ebuyer's fault (brand new case in sealed box). Called up Antec and they RMA'd the power supply without a hitch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ebuyer or Antec!

Decent experience. Tracking was not too easy, as they don't have a one-click check on shipping in the emails. Order status also not too great. Prices are wonderful, however, and if you can wait the extra few days, shipping is cheap. I recommend shopping there, but there are better places to shop if the price differenc is small.

I called the manufacturer of the product I ordered to get some specs and they informed me that the product displayed on Ebuyer website for that tv was not the actual tv represented. I called Ebuyer to inform them of this. Ebuyer said they went to the warehouse and looked at the picture on the website and the picture on the product box and they were the same. When I received the product, the picture advertized was clearly different than on the box. The style of the tv is very important to me. This is false advertizing and after I made the Ebuyer service department aware of the wrong picture, nothing was done..... Very poor business practice.

Communication thru their eNotes system is dismal to impossible. eNotes is the only path to customer service. I receive e-mails telling me I have eNotes to check -- but am locked out of the eNote system with the message that my e-mail address is not in their database. It would be MUCH better to put the content of an eNote in an e-mail. I like eBuyer's selection, prices, and delivery, and would prefer to remain a customer, but the eNote hurdle is simply too high to overcome.

One thing I did notice was it gave me no online choice to cancel the order. Immediatly after placing my order, I noticed a less expensive brand they sold. Even though it was a holiday weekend, the system put my order into a "picking" mode, preventing me from canceling. It was not a big deal, so I let the order go through. I would only order from Ebuyer if it were to save me lots of money. I placed the order, and then received an email asking me to call them to confirm my order. This happened 3 times over a 1 week period of which my product still had not been shipped. They then told me that they could not confirm my CC and I should use another one. This was bullshit as I had just spoke with my CC company and they said there was no reason why it could not be approved. I cancelled my order and ordered it from another vendor with same CC. I paid a little more but I did not have to deal with all the bullshit.

I really liked the site and its features, such as being able to write notes and respond to alert e-mails online, as well as its detailed tracking system. The main turn-off was when my order was cancelled, twice, because the company thought that they wouldn't get any more in stock from the supplier. Shortly after the last order I attempted to make, they received over 200 in stock. Their front office is exceptional. Their back-office really needs to clear up its communications with their suppiers.

I found a great deal on a webcam here, and I got signed up and registered and everything, purchased a cam I wanted which they *said* had twelve more in stock. I purchase it and it doesn't go through because it was out of stock. Wasted alot of time for nothing, I ended up finding it even cheaper at zipzoomfly.com. Thanks alot guys! Ebuyer.com had the product and color that I wanted and for a good price. It wasn't clear, however, that returns were not accepted for this brand. The color that I ordered looked different than the displayed picture and an email to that regard has still not been answered. All that said and now that I know, the selection and prices were great.

Overall shopping experience was good. Had a delay, but was not directly ebuyer's fault (credit lender). Order shipped and was received by date first posted on their site when order was placed. Contacting this company is mixed bag, at busy times, you will be automatically put on hold for times, but overall still acceptable.
