A disaster

"When I received a Monitor from them that was advertised as "New", it arrived in an open box missing some of the parts. I contacted them about obtaining the missing parts, and their first response was (quoting): "Yes you should Babel to git it from vewsonic just let them know what happened." It's not that they are illiterate, its that they shipped me an incomplete order then tried to pawn it off on ViewSonic. I called their 800 number to complain and they reassured me that it would be taken care of immediately. Over a month later, I received this response: "I am sorry but View sonic is not an item the Ebuyer can accept for returns. Please contact View sonic directly." The order is still incomplete and they are betting I won't do anything about it. I will never order anything from this company again. I would recommend that you find another company to do business with. "

Poor return policy.

They do not pay for shipping on defective items. If they send you a bad item, you have to pay the shipping cost to send it back to them. It's rather annoying.
If you are unlucky enough to receive a bad part, be prepared to shell out some $ to have it replaced or returned.

Awesome experience with e-buyer!!! Would definetly buy there again. Prices were top notch, as well as the customer service you get in return! The component I ordered was at my house within a few day's. Ebuyer in my book gets a 10+ rating.

Where I buy from is based on "CUSTOMER SERVICE". "A plus" here. I always call customer service as a 1st time buyer to a site. This is like extra insurance for me. This guy was helpful, informative on my product and on the company's procedures. I didn't feel rushed or brushed off the phone. We were done when I was done. To make sure this wasn't a fluke, I tried it again with another person. Again, she was also great. Oh yeah, the price of BENQ PB6200, was the best anywhere. The most popular sites didn't come close to their price. And I got free shipping.
This is a site I will always check out 1st.

The box that my purchased was shipped in was in the best shape I've ever seen come through shipping... however when I opened it the manufactures box looked like it was hit a few times with a baseball bat. What kind of company ships damaged items!? On top of that I had to pay for shipping the product back! Not to mention that it takes them another 10-12 business days to process your RMA and send you a hopefully intact product. I'm ticked to put it lightly and will never order from them again!!!!!

I ordered a Antec mid tower case from Ebuyer.com late Saturday afternoon.I come home from work Tuesday and its at my door.I had my product before i had a e-mail confirming dispatch.NOW thats fast.Good job Ebuyer.First time I used them and they have my vote.Ebuyer had the best price so I gave them a shot and I`m very happy I did.My case and its box was in excellent condition.

No Package- No Refund

Once again a person who was shopping for the price and trusting a company to deliver. I simply purchased a computer bag and simply paid to have it mailer via Fed Ex. But oh not so simple. I track the package for 5 days and then find out it's lost. So I call Ebuyer to report the package never made it to it destination. The lady emails me a form and request me to sign it and they will investigate it. Now I have no bag, no refund and I'm NOT happy. I guess you can Sum it up with DO NOT BUY FROM EBUYER.

Bad systems and worse customer support.

Good looking site and there it ends.........
Submitted card details and there was probably an error on the number which caused a payment authorisation to be denied. Tried to use the "Change payment" option to re-submit but I was continually looped back to the "View Order" page instead of re-newing the details. I continued to try through the next day and logged an E-Note to sales / order tracking to no avail.
Gave up and ordered elsewhere without problem and for less than 1.00UKP more.
Avoid the bad service and systems.

Nice customer service, buggy site

Put together an order worth $65 of computer accessories weighing 3 pounds. When i got to check out, they tried to charge $35 to ship via one-week ground delivery. I thought it was a bait-&-switch, but luckily called them. The customer service person was very nice, and said that their freight calculator gets buggy when you order lots of items and they then could come from all sorts of different warehouses (i had 5 small items). We did the order while she was on the phone with me and she manually changed it while i was still on the phone so my shipping was just $10.
Also, the site was very slow, but this was in part b/c they had just sent out an ad to 5 million customers. The prices were definitely lower than their competitors, and apparently they make a ridiculously thin profit margin. I'd believe it too.

Awful, unresponsive customer support, sold us Japanese market product, refused to exchange for US product or issue refund, even when product was unopened. This business is a SCAM. Run, don't walk, to another vendor.

Beware of Ebuyer

same sort of problem. I ordered a plantronics headset and a lifter for the phone receiver. I received the headset and not the lifter. they want me to ship them the headset back then they will ship me the headset and the lifter. I figure after i ordered this headset it will be a month before i receive what i ordered. I asked them why dont you just send me the lifter and we will all be happy. they they said i could pay for another lifter then ship back the headset and they would credit my account when they received it. i said no you already screwed up my simple order i have no reason to trust you with multiple credits to my card.. All they had to do was ship me the lifter but they would not. I was planning on buying 9 of these for a total cost of 1989.00 but now i will pay more to get them from a company with integrity and a real customer service department.

BUY ELSEWHERE! EBUYER IS DISHONEST

BUY ELSEWHERE! Ordered Linksys wireless access point and bridge. Ebuyer shipped me a mouse instead. When I called customer service, Ebuyer claimed I was a liar as their superlative shipping procedures conclusively proves I am liar and the Linksys equipment was actually shipped. Ebuyer's baseless accusations are entirely false. I ordered $378 of Linksys wireless equipment and was shipped a $10 mouse! Supervisor threatened adverse legal action if I filed a fraud claim with VISA. This seller is a mess!

I bought a Compact Flash Card at Ebuyer. Not only were they the cheapest, but the delivery was super fast. I received my product two days only after purchase when it was scheduled to take a week and a half. Excellent experience!

NO returns on LCDs, 20% restocking for other items, otherwise good

I bought a Samsung SyncMaster 910T. It arrived within 2 days of placing the order with my choice of free ground shipping, so response was excellent.
Ebuyer's price was the best, shipping was free, and they did not charge me state taxes. However, their return policy for LCDs sucks (NO returns, you must deal with the manufacturer). If the monitor was DOA, they might deal with it, but my problem is that I thought this would be a great monitor but it is only OK and I'm not happy with my purchase--not Ebuyer's fault, but I'm stuck.
My recommendation is to make darn sure you want the item that you order from Ebuyer, because, even if they allow a return, they want a 20% restocking fee. This is pretty common among web vendors, but it is still a lousy return policy.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS BUSINESS.
I PLACED AN ORDER FOR AN HP SCANJET AND PAID FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY BECAUSE I NEEDED IT FOR MY BUSINESS. I WAS DEPENDING ON THE PROMISES MADE IN THE WEBSITE OF THIS VENDOR. THE VENDOR FAILED TO CONTACT ME AND FAILED TO EVEN PROCESS THE ORDER, WHICH LEFT ME WAITING WITH NO DOCUMENT SCANNER FOR MY BUSINESS. WHEN I CALLED THEM ASKING WHERE MY EQUIPMENT WAS, THEY SAID, THAT IT HAD NOT BEEN PROCESSED AND THEY HAD NO EXPLANATION. WHEN I TOLD THE SERVICE PERSON THAT THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE BECAUSE I HAD PAID THE DELIVERY PRICE FOR NEXT-DAY DELIVERY, SHE TOLD ME "WELL, YOU HAVEN'T PAID ANYTHING YET, BECAUSE WE HAVEN'T CHARGED YOUR CREDIT CARD YET." WOW. THIS BUSINESS IS BAD. I IMMEDIATELY CANCELLED MY ORDER ADVISING THE SERVICE PERSON THAT I WOULD WRITE THEM A NEGATIVE REVIEW. PLEASE, DO NOT GIVE THIS VENDOR YOUR BUSINESS. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
