"MagsForLess" is a SCAM! We paid for our subscription and nothing. Now they don't even reply to our inquires. PLEASE avoid this company!

Placed an order 3 months ago and still have not rec'd a single issue of a multiple magazine order. Have tried to call. Have tried to email. Have called and written BBB and NY Atty. General to report fraud. I would not suggest you order anything from this company.

Never delivered 3 months after billing me for 6 mags for $60.

In retrospect, I did not follow one of the GOLDEN RULES of INTERNET SHOPPING.

DO NOT,... REPEAT, DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ANY ONLINE SELLER IF THEY DO NOT HAVE A CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER ON THEIR HOME PAGE.

As with all the others i was totally ripped-off. I ordered (4) magazines, and after (4) months have not received any answers nor magazines.

I paid for several magazines for my elderly mother last October. She still has not received most of them. When I contacted MagsForLess in January, they said they had made a mistake and never told the publishers of my order, but that it would be straightened out immediately. Now, two months later, she still has not gotten the mags and after three emails, MagsForLess is not responding at all. There is no phone number or address on their website, so the only wasy to contact them is by email. Poor customer service and a ripoff.

I ordered two magazine subscriptions from this company on September 16th. I have never received my magazines or my money back.

I would never order from this company again. They took my money and ran. They do not respond to email or answer their phones.

Please save yourself the hassle and avoid this website.

I ordered The Economist through MagsForLess only to find that they had not processed the order withing a month. Then they promosed to expedite the subscription, but still nothing happened. TWO MONTHS later I called my credti card company to challenge the charge. The Economist had not received the order even by then. I had terrible exprience with this mom-and-pops scam store, and I would strongly recommend against using them.

I also cannot recommend magsforless. Never came through with my subscriptions. I called the magazines directly and they never received my subs. Angry and out some money. AVOID. Notice the only positive reviews are all the same day, probably placed by site itself.

I would not purchase from this site again. I was trying to purchase about 50.00 worth of subscriptions. I supplied my Amex Credit Card number and the site stated that the CC did not go through. So, I tried again with my AmEx. Same response that the charge did not go through. Showing my naivety, I tried with my Visa card. Same response. Later when I got my bills, I had 2 charges on my Amex, and one on my Visa. It was very difficult to get the charges removed (eventually successful, but very difficult and tedious)

FRAUD! DO NOT BUY FROM MAGS FOR LESS!!


Ordered a magazine renewal of People for $90. Never received. People is now writing me nasty notes saying I have NOT paid. I paid with Paypal so I am out of luck as far as dispute resolution. This is part of this guy's scam: By the time you have figured out that no payment has been made, you are outside of Paypal's 45 day limit for dispute resolution. Why doesn't Paypal help shut this crook down? Also, I wonder who is his internet provider? There must be a way to get this guy off the internet!!

Stay away! this company is a scam. I payed for a 3 year subscription, but I only received a 2 year subscription. Since 60 days has passed my credit card company will not help. At least I received 2 years, most people don't even receive that. These guys know that after 60 days your credit card will not help and it takes more than 60 days for your subscription to start. So they exploit the 60 day limit to dispute charges.

Run from the Mags For Less website. This outfit has been totally unacceptable in their order fulfillment. First, once you’ve ordered, they don’t give you an estimated delivery date. When you call their 800 number, someone there will tell you that that information comes from another office and someone will get back with you. No one gets back with you. You can also go back to their website and plug in your name and zip code and it will spit out an expected delivery range. That range for me was five months (!) after I placed the order. But that doesn’t seem to matter, since the estimated delivery range has come and gone and still no magazine.

Whatever you do, do not give your business to Mags for Less. You’ve been warned.

I placed my order 11/26/06. It is now 6/14/07 and still no magazines, no refund, nothing!

I still have not been able to get a valid response from this company. I received an e-mail stating that my inquiry was assigned a 'reference number'. They also attached a coupon to the response.

My response to them was that I either wanted my money back IMMEDIATELY or I wanted my order. I also said they could stick their coupon because there is no way I would order from them again.

Steer clear of this company!!!!
