10 months after getting my dish from RapidSatellite, they have now suddenly made 2 charges to my credit card of $225.00 each in the last 5 days!
I haven't cancelled my year commitment of Directtv service and I've paid for the dish! Someone at RapidSatellite has decided to try and "scam" me with bogus charges to the credit card number that they used 10 months ago...I just happened to check my balance online and found the charges being made!
I've had to cancel the credit card and am now trying to contact Rapid through their 800 number and directly at 305-672-2827.

Speed of delivery was fine, order accuracy great, excellent installation. Shipped defective Tivo unit out of the box. Since then my attempts to get a new unit shipped have fallen on deaf ears. Supervisors won't return phone calls, and I have no idea if or when I'll get a new unit. They are just a big volume Dealer, and you are just a number - they could care less after the sale - Buyer beware!

I had a great shopping experience with rapid satellite. This is how an online etailer should operate. I placed my order, received my tracking number, and my product arrived promptly. I placed my order a few weeks ago on a Monday. Thursday, it arrived when I got home. Our family has been wanting DirecTv for quite some time, so we were excited to receive our package so quickly. My husband had called customer service because of scheduling problems with the installer, and the issue was resolved quickly. Our system was installed later that Friday without a hitch. Very, very unacceptable!! Could not find me an installer for my system. Was put off for three weeks--kept transferring me to another company. Scheduled me on a Saturday, and the installer did not work on Saturdays--scheduled me twice after that with Dove Digital in Alexandria, LA, and twice no one showed up. Tried TV Communications, and they did not do South Louisiana. They had NO installers for my Direct TV system. Customer service was rude--they kept putting me off, telling me that they could find me someone to install. Finally, after three weeks, I cancelled--well guess what, out of the $168.39 I initally paid, I will be getting back MAYBE $40.00. This is a RIPOFF and I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through. If you can do anything about me getting my money back and informing others about the unethical practices of Direct TV, I would appreciate. They will not give me the Corporate Office phone, address, or e-mail--so apparently I am not the only dissatisfied customer. It is not even on the internet--I searched. Direct TV puts on a good show to sell you their company, yet after that they could care less about you-just getting your money and giving you the runaround!! I will let people know what happened to me. If you know of any address, e-mail, or phone in their corporate office, please let me know. This type of "customer service" has got to stop. They owe me money and lots of apologies--and I will get neither!! Aaron sold me the system. Dove digital kept promising to find me a company who would install--they failed! Nathan at the installation office didn't care about me at all, and kept putting me off. As far as Rapid Satellite, they have no decency when it comes to customer service. I don't know who the one person is responsible for my dillema, but put all these people and companies in one bundle and they still could not find me an installer and they did not want to admit that they sold me a system that they could not install--they only cared about getting the money and getting me hooked and then who cares. I was informed by DirectTV to call this merchant concerning setup and activation of product and I had a difficult time understanding the person I spoke with and getting him to understanding me. All he could tell me was to call DirectTV. Why call them again? They told me to call you. Both companies need to education their employees on Tivo. Read more

Although I did receive the product that I purchased, it was extremely difficult to carry on a conversation with the person that took my order. The call was apparently out-sourced to India, and the person did not speak English very well.
