Lousy.  They sent me spam (via ebay) trying to sell me warranty coverage on my purchase. But my purchase was warranty coverage!  AppleCare. 

I bought a DVD/VHS recorder on ebay.  I purchased the coverage from square trade.  The VHS on the unit started making a loud noise when operating. I called square trqade and explained the problem.  They sent me a shipping lable for the return and refunded me the full purchase price of 107.68.  I am very happy with square trade.  No problem what so ever.

The popup flash on my Fuji S700 wouldn't popup for flash. I contacted ST and received a packing box with all the mailing labels and instructions along with email confirmations. I sent the camera for repair and received it fixed pronto.

The turnaround and completeness of service was incredible - all within 5 business days!

I've got several items with ST and have been please with all of their coverage on the items. I am buying an enetbook today at Fry's and will us ST for it too.

Verry bad experiance. I purchased a warranty on a cell phone, the cell phone quit working and they would not stand behind it because it failed before it was 60 days old.  The original warranty expired after 30 days and I paid them for a 2 year warranty.  They were verry unhelpful and I got nothing from them. I have nothing good to say about my experiance

I have purchased several SquareTrade warranties, but have never had to make a claim until now. The process was painless, quick, and efficient. When I called, the person I spoke to was honest and courteous. Once the phone arrived at their facilities, the refund was just days away. I hate my item failed, but I'm glad SquareTrade didn't fail! Easy to use.  Fast service.  Excellent repair work.  However, I learned the hard way that some repairs result in ST cancelling the remainder of your coverage.  This happened on a digital camera repair.  First, ST claimed they sent me a new camera and that I needed to buy coverage on it.  When I explained that some nicks and scratches were proof that they fixed my camera and returned it instead of sending me a new one, ST changed its tune and said it was due to the cost of repairs being a certain % of the camera's value, which therefore meant ST fulfulled its warranty obligation in spite of it being only 6 months into a 3 year contract.  Still, the camera has worked fine since the repair and two other issues I've had (MP3 player and PDA) have been resolved to my satisfaction.  However, I've noticed extended warranties provided by retailers have come way down in price, and I will probably use them more often than ST.

I had a SquareTrade warranty on a Epson GT30000 scanner that I got off Ebay. The scanner quit working 2 months before the warranty ran out. I talked to the SquareTrade rep and they sent me a form to fill out for refund of the Ebay purchase price. Within a week, the money was in my Paypal account. It would have been nice to have the scanner fixed but the scanner costs 10x what I paid on Ebay. Everything about the SquareTrade service was excellent. I will definately use them again.

I bought a iPod Nano on eBay and after some debate, I bought the warranty with SquareTrade. I am glad I did because about a month later, the battery died. The claim was easy to begin online, then I had to talk to a phone rep. I was expecting hold time, runaround, and hassle. I was wrong. The reps I talked to were smart, fast and friendly. In a week from my iPod dying, they approved my claim, I mailed it to them, and they refunded my money. I will always buy a SquareTrade warranty with any future electronic purchases. It has proven to be well worth the money.

Square Trade warranties are completely useless. The first call I made for a malfunction of the phone was denied without even looking at the phone. I was told that it is impossible that a loose hinge is a manufacturing defect. They cite the "accidental damage" exclusion in their warranties, even though there was no accident. It appears that their practice is to automatically deny the claim and offer a refund of your warranty premium. That way they assume no real risk and get to keep the $$ for all policies with no claims.

Avoid this company at all lengths!

Got a laptop motherboard on ebay. I got the warranty from square trade. Once i installed the motherboard I found it was faulty. I contacted seller and he didn't have another one on hand so he refunded my money. I figured great now I will have to jump hoops to get my refund from square trade since i sent the item back. It was vary easy i logged in to my square trade account and and clicked the cancel my warranty button and whamo it was done no fuss just quick and easy.

They fixed my digital camera and it is just like new, if not better. The people i talked to were very helpful and knew what might be the problem. I wasn't sure if they could get parts for it due to the model of digital camera isn't made anymore.

I purchased this plan, never thinking I would need it. Unfortunately I did need to use it, the phone I purchased wasn't working 2 weeks later. I contacted Square Trade for the options of how to handle this. The representative was so helpful with every step of the process. The claim was handled so quickly. I plan on purchasing for all my future electronic purchases. Thank You !

Square Trade Inc. in my book is A+. I filed my claim and had the money the next day!

I would recomend it and am going to use them on my next purchase

BUYER BE WARE!!!! I purchased the contract when I bought a new phone on eBay. The warranty was on the seller's page so it passed SquareTrade’s supposedly vigorous standards. Last week my phones keypad stopped working so I called the warranty company who would not honor the warranty. SquareTrade will only refund my money spent on the contract but will do nothing about the warranty. Why would I buy a warranty only to be returned the money of the contract when the product broke? What a joke. They do not stand behind them and be careful. It sounds like a great deal but if they are not going to honor it what's the sense? I've already filed two complaints; one against SqareTrade and the other against the warranty company (VAC service) with the FTC for false advertisement and misleading practices. I will update as I hear more.
